Fantastic customer service. They are very transparent on service and parts needed, checked in to “Ok” any additional repairs. Total cost for repairs were very reasonable and affordable, especially given that my engine needed to come out of the vehicle. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

When you are on vacation, one of the last things you want is to have to go to a repair shop to fix a minor or major problem with your car and looking for a place to get it done. But when you do, it is nice to have clear and precise advice without feeling like you are overcharging for repairs. An air conditioning problem that brought us to see them before we returned to Canada was fixed, as was a brake light problem (they even fixed a squeaky door that was annoying us, but that we had never fixed… for free). Don’t be fooled by the general appearance of the garage… probably an indication that the money is going to the right place.

This was the best broken car experience I've ever had ! I live in PA but my son has my car in CO. I needed $5K of repairs on my Subaru and was very nervous since it was alot of money and I had no experience with this shop and I live so far away. Over a 2 week period of time, I had numerous conversations with Eric, Andy and Katrina and although I know they were very busy, they were all very patient and kind in answering all my questions and making me feel very comfortable with agreeing to have them do the repairs. Andy texted me with frequent updates. I couldn't have asked for better customer service - good people. Highly recommend Breck Subie!

Andy, Cassandra and Eric are all great, know their stuff and are very friendly. I take my WRX and my mom’s Forester to Breck subie, only, because we trust them more than anyone with our cars, high quality work. So much so that when my mom’s car went off the accident, we trusted Breck Subie to do a full inspection and replace what was needed so that she had piece of mind again while driving. They diagnose problems accurately and in a timely manner!
Son muy amables, pero solamente trabajan en los Subarus. Si tienes Subaru, puedes confiar en este negocio, hacen el trabajo muy bien. Eric es el mecánico que habla español aqui.

I’ve been going to Breck Subi for a few years now and they’ve been great each and every time. Katrina at the front desk is a great addition to the shop and is always welcoming, personable, and attentive. Andy has been kind enough to take the time to explain any issues about my car with me when needed. I would recommend for anyone who has a Subaru to come see these folks!

On vacation and brakes starting grinding on my Forester. Called Monday morning at open and had me done around lunch. They delayed lunch to get me on the road. Great job guys

I tried calling this morning and the man who answered the phone had a very aggressive manner and did not help with my situation instead of asking me questions he acted as if I was dumb. Not great service at all wasn’t too excited with his attitude.

One of the best service experiences we've had! Our Forester was smoking after some trail driving, so we called Breck Subie. Even despite how busy they were, they got us in to take a look. Andy identified the issue and got us rolling again that day, completely saving our vacation! Everyone in the shop was kind and friendly, and Andy talked us through the issue, really alleviating our stress. We only wish that this shop was closer to our home in Denver, otherwise we'd come here all the time! Would highly recommend!

Great service at a fair price.
I’ve had a few of my Subies worked on by Andy and his team and they always go above and beyond. They’ve helped me out many times over the years - from simple oil changes to clutches to head gaskets to installing an after-market hitch on my newest addition - always happy and satisfied with the service and results.

This is absolutely the place to get your Subaru serviced or fixed up if you live in summit county or anywhere nearby. The group of guys that works there is amazing and they do great work. I brought my Forester in a few weeks ago because I needed some work done on it. There was a large storm rolling in as I dropped off my car and they worked hard through the storm in order to make sure I got my car back as quickly as possible. The storm impacted the shipping times for some of the parts that I needed and they kept me updated and well informed the whole time. They even offered to come in on a day when the shop is usually closed in order to get me my car ASAP. Also, they saved me several thousand dollars by finding an issue that had just popped up before it would have likely caused me to need a new engine. These guys are hard working, kind, honest, and intelligent. Go support a local business and forget about the Subaru dealership, that place is a ripoff and you’re much better off bringing your car to a shop where you’re treated like a real person.

Breck Subi used to be legit I don’t know what happened. I took my Subaru in for an alignment and it wasn’t right. They said they’d be happy to do another one for $180. I took my car to the Subaru dealership and they said that the rear end had never been aligned. Save your time and money and don’t go here.

Honest and Fair. The shop evaluated my transmission issue accurately and informed me of an extended warranty being offered by Subaru, instead of charging me for a repair. I greatly appreciated their honest and ethical approach to my transmission issue. Other shops may have charged me for a repair, rather than letting me know about the warranty. Best Subaru repair shop in Summit County!

If you own a Subaru in Summit County (or just visiting) only go to Breck Subie! Don't waste your time and money with Groove. These guys at Breck Subie are actually honestly, reasonably priced, and get your vehicle worked on in a timely manner. Will never go anywhere else!
(As a female, my biggest thing when bringing in my vehicle is getting lied to, and being treated like I don't know anything about cars, so I can be scammed. I never felt this way with them, and they treated me like an actual intellectual human. Huge props)
