Whitney was amazing! I was going for kind of a bold cut by my personal standards, I’d never cut my hair this short or gone anywhere near shaggy/layered and she hit the exact look I was going for. I feel more confident and am so excited to go into summer with this style!!

The highlight (pun intended) of my month when I get to come in and see Em and Mel!!! Always such a vibe but most importantly I love that they always take the time to do a full consult before they start! They’ll look up pictures and chat extensively to throughly understand exactly what I want! It’s so genuine and never feels rushed! Even my brother goes here now and I can’t recommend BCB enough!!! I won’t let anyone else touch my hair for a cut or color!! (Picture is a couple days off a fresh trim for Aspen:)

I came in not knowing exactly how to ask for what I wanted. Emily guided me to something that was even better and she was so consciences to not overwhelm me with the change. I booked her at an apprentice level and it honestly feels like I got away with murder. She was so skilled and had such an incredible sense of style and vision for my hair.
Stylist: Emily, book her while you can, I'm sure her rates will go up soon. So good!

I came to Breckenridge for my destination wedding at Sapphire Point. We had never been here or even knew of any salons or locations. I ran into a hair emergency from another salon in town, and called this place an hour before my wedding and they all calmed my nerves, talked to me and reassured me and Melanie I believe her name is, fixed my updo in 10 minutes! I HIGHLY recommend this salon! Everyone here was so friendly, sweet, kind and accommodating and HONEST! Thank you all so much for turning my wedding night mare into a dream!

I am so grateful to have gotten referred to Emily at Chopping Block Salon Breckenridge. I procrastinate with getting my hair appointments in so I am usually overdue. Emily and the staff at Chopping Block Salon are always so kind, helpful and accommodating. Emily is patient, honest, personable and focused. She spends so much time on my hair each time that I am in the salon and that shows me how passionate she is about what she does. Recovering from a foot surgery, I needed the energy boost and having my hair done did just that. I hadn’t scheduled a hair cut with my full highlight and blowout yet Emily made time for my extra request despite having other clients after me. Emily is always providing me with the best recommendations on products that I am now loyal to. I cannot thank and recommend Emily and Chopping Block Salon enough.

What a great experience! I love this salon. When I walked in, I was welcomed by smiling faces, snacks, and tea. Hairstylist Lisa is very warm and welcoming. She did a beautiful job on my long-over due hair..which was in desperate need for a haircut. The layers, shape and fullness of my hair was spot on when she finished! Throughout, she kept me up to date with how much she was taking off, where she was thinning the bulk, and where I wanted my bangs to lay. I trust her to cut my hair again, I will be back to see her!! This salon is very knowledgeable, professional, and there seemed to be other clients that appeared satisfied with their care. Also, aesthetically beautiful salon!

Melanie, owner is very conscientious in all that she does. Takes her time to ensure a proper haircut is done with care. Apprentice Sammy does a great job as she’s learning cuts and color and all the things. I love going to a blow-out with her!

Great communication and overall understanding of desired outcome. She nailed it! And I would say the best cut yet with this current style. I love that you can upload photos and provide details before the appointment. I had a fun, positive, and warm interaction with Whitney that made an big impression. She's my new stylist and I'm definitely willing to travel from Vail to see her! I'll be coming back with my boyfriend soon to witness her mullet masterpiece magic! Thank you so much Whitney. I wanted a shaggy mullet w/ chunky bangs and Whitney delivered. She asked a bunch of questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I came in for. I haven’t walked out of a salon 100% satisfied with what I got in forever. I am soooo obsessed !
