Walgreens Pharmacy is a busy but caring and professional store. The staff work hard to manage a high volume of customers, especially since nearby pharmacies have closed, making it challenging to find an open pharmacy. Customers appreciate the team’s dedication, patience, and positive attitude, even when faced with rude customers or long waits. Employees are quick to help, often going above and beyond, such as running outside to give missing items or ensuring every customer is attended to. Despite being understaffed at times, the team remains friendly and committed to providing good service. Some customers feel the pharmacy is often unfairly judged, noting that the staff handle the busy environment well and are respectful and helpful. Overall, the pharmacy staff’s hard work and kindness make the experience better for customers. Many express gratitude for their efforts and highlight that the location is a reliable place to get prescriptions, with staff who truly care about their customers’ well-being.
Why is this the worst Walgreens pharmacy ever? I honestly try to avoid it at all costs because it’s impossible to spend less than 45 minutes here. Usually it’s an hour. Just to pick up a Rx or get a vaccine. Seriously—how does the manager have a job???

Be prepared for vaccination appointment wait times of at least half an hour to an hour pas your scheduled time. May as well have driven to the Walgreens in Lafayette and back. Would have been faster and friendlier.
August 2024
Whole store is closed today with no explanation-- confirmed yesterday with the pharmacy that I could come in to pick up my needed medication today. What on earth is going on? Sign suggests evacuation, but there are no evacuation orders or events to warrant that.
