After accruing a lot of "dormant account fees" from moving states and not using my Vectra bank account anymore, I got in touch with the bank manager to request a refund and to close the account. He was extremely compassionate, understanding and professional. He got back to me immediately, credited the fees and issued me a cashiers check to close the account. I can't recommend Matthew enough as a bank manager and kind, understanding person. It's a far cry from most banks/bureaucracies and I wish all bank managers were like that.

I spent more than 6 hours trying to resolve an issue with a funds transfer that didn't go through due to technical difficulties on the part of Vectra Bank and resulted in multiple insufficient funds fees (they charge $24/week plus $8/day and don't automatically notify you until the fees go to their collections department). In the process, I was given the wrong reference number (either intentionally or by sheer incompetence), inconsistent reasonings from different customer service representatives as to what went wrong, and in the end, no resolution. This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a bank.

Jennifer Case, at this branch, really knows her stuff and is a great resource for small business owners and property owners. I highly recommend her for HELOCs and business banking as well as business credit cards.
