Dealing with Mark was a premiere experience. Mark has been working with us for well over a year in finding the right property. Other aspects of this transaction was not ideal and Mark was able to act as a proxy to help resolve issues with lending and title. Mark was great and we really appreciate working with him and would do it again.

We couldn't be happier that we found Mark Gisler to help us find an affordable condo in Boulder with an amazing view of the Flat Irons for our son who is pursuing a PhD there and who has been paying sky-high rent for two years. We're from a different state, and Mark gave us a lot of great options and made the entire process as easy as possible. Except for one day looking at properties with Mark, we did everything remotely, and there were no problems at all. Mark continued to help us after the sale, and that was almost as important as finding us the property and getting us through the negotiations with the seller successfully. Highest recommendation!

Our family jointly owned a property together and when we decided to sell the majority of it.. we needed to find a developer and buyer who was willing to work through the lengthy subdivision process. A family friend who had subdivided their own property highly recommended Jim Thomas. Jim accepted the challenge enthusiastically, he found the perfect buyer, and along with his team, met every obstacle with the courage of seasoned professionals. Jim tirelessly navigated through the contractual complexities that can arise with this type of transaction. Because of unforeseen complications and city requirements, after nearly two years invested we were unable to proceed as originally intended. Jim Thomas and his Team are phenomenal! We worked with Jim to find a home in Boulder from moving out of state. The market was challenging but Jim took the time to show us multiple properties to understand what we needed. He was always available and provided great support throughout the full process. Jim provided solid advice when asked which we appreciated about certain characteristics of the homes in Boulder. Since Jim lives in Boulder he has an immense understanding of most properties/communities.After the 5th offer of a property, we landed an amazing Colorado property that we can call home and be near our family!Jims team were outstanding and the best customer service you will find. I value that as these days it's not common. They were responsive, informative, personal and amazing. I feel like I found new friends in Boulder. After closing Jim said were still here if you need us! We had been just looking at real estate in the Louisville/Lafayette area for a number of years: checking on-line and around town when we would see a "for sale" sign. Jim Thomas began a contact through one of our inquiries. His communication was not over the top; just keeping in touch. When we decided to become serious about buying, Jim passed us to his colleague Greg Johnson. Greg was responsive, professional, and detail-oriented. When a property came up in which we were interested, if we were out of town, Greg would walk us through via facetime. Often our communication would take place after hours. We learned about the market and nuances of offers and counteroffers. The inventory was limited so our search took a number of months but Greg was there for us as a resource the whole time. The Thomas Ratay office worked hard for us and we ended up with the perfect home.

We purchased 2 homes with Greg Johnson and he is amazing! We started our home search in Denver from the Bay Area where we were living last spring and Greg was an incredible help from the very beginning. He explained the different areas of Denver and how they would be a good fit for our family including schools, proximity to parks, restaurants, farmers markets, and other criteria we had. He gave us countless facetime tours before we were able to get to Denver to see homes in person and connected us with several great lenders and inspection companies when the time came. He was able to negotiate and work up a great offer during the peak spring/summer seller’s market to secure us our new home in Wash Park. Throughout the entire process Greg was incredibly supportive and always asked how he could help. He wasn’t pushy at all and we felt extremely comfortable, knowing he had our best interests at heart. Greg followed up on everything throughout the closing process and was completely on top of all the moving parts. Once we closed on our home, Greg also provided excellent recommendations for contractor and design resources. We decided to look for a second home as an investment opportunity after we closed on our first home and Greg was immediately on it. He was able to recommend great areas and gave us a ton of really good advice on what to look for. He was able to find us an investment property that fit our criteria (and more) very quickly. He even helped me show it to prospective tenants once we closed. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without him! Greg made our move so much less stressful and we’ve really enjoyed working with him. We’ve already recommended Greg to our friends moving to Denver and would recommend him to anyone looking for property here.

We worked with Jim Thomas to sell and then buy our homes. At the start of the process, we interviewed multiple agents and Jim took the time to come up with the most thoughtful, strategic approach to hitting our goals for selling the house. We appreciated his engineering background -- he spent hours learning about the home’s history and was able to communicate technical details to buyers. His team was essential in helping us prep our home for sale under a tight timeline. On the buying side, Jim was gracious with his time and always willing to meet us to see a listing. From the mountains to Erie, he offered a seasoned perspective on all neighborhoods in Boulder County.
