They lie about issues with bikes when you don't accept their low ball offer. Employees are high at work. Unprofessional place.

Purchased a saddle from them as it was the same price as other online retailers and I figured I'd give them a try. Big mistake. For context, I'm in Canada and TPC ships with Fedex. I expected to pay duties and taxes as always, but I wasn't expecting a massive surchage that Fedex applied to use them as a customs broker. I never agreed to this, nor did I have the opportunity to decline the parcel and clear this myself as one should - Fedex left the parcel in the lobby of my building. Contacting Fedex, I learned that TPC agreed on my behalf that I would pay these fees without my knowledge. After reaching out to TPC to resolve the issue they informed me that while they don't actually show these fees on checkout when customers pay with Shop Pay, that I de-facto agreed to paying them anyways and I would need to deal with it. Anyways - I'll now have to dispute this myself and will likely end up having to pay them to help subsidize TPC's poor business model.

Beware. Decent prices, poor warranty and service. I bought a 2017 Santa Cruz and rear suspension totally crapped out after about 8 uses in under 7 months and they'll charge you to fix issues after 30 days.

Pro's Closet is a great store with wonderful, responsive and honest customer service. The mountain bike I bought was easy to track through the shipping process, and arrived on time. Clear instructions were included to put the bike together, and the process was simple. Overall, the bike was in great condition and included all the new components just as described online. A few days later, I noticed that one of the tires was losing air. I emailed with my concern, and Pro's Closet responded within an hour. They said they'd be happy to pay for me to take it to a repair shop to add more sealant or otherwise fix the problem. I was actually able to fix it myself by adding more sealant. When I let Pros's Closet know that I wouldn't be taking the bike for repair, they sent me a generous gift card for my time. That's amazing customer service! I will absolutely buy from Pro's Closet again, and I highly recommend them, as they clearly have integrity and stand behind their products and the work they do.

Best bike shop in Colorado, maybe in the entire US! They have the biggest selection - 160 brands. It's insane. And you can get all of your accessories there too. I took my Santa Cruz there for some major servicing and they were incredible to work with - very knowledgeable, had a slick texting interface to keep me up to speed on my bike, etc. Highly recommend!!

Matthew from customer service less than useful and enjoyed telling me import charges to Canada are my problem. Nothing mentioned at point of sale. Import charges $74.36 CDN Total for shoes $ 290.63 CDN. It seems like a legit site showing CDN dollars and that they ship to Canada but clearly a scam by not saying the shipping and fees do not cover import fees. Leaving a review everywhere I can find to warn people! Horrible customer service, and they don't care about reviews. Reported to BBB of US.

The bike came in much worse shape than advertised; obviously through multiple crashes, out of tune, scratched, wrong chain installed, a creaking bottom bracket, and dinged up. I didn't send it back, first mistake. I fixed it up and after a year tried to sell it back via the "guaranteed buy back" program, which is apparently not accurate. I was offered trade in value only, which I did not want to gamble on another used bike. I was able to get a cash value offer of nearly half what was supposedly "guaranteed", which I regretfully attempted to take, second mistake. Upon arrival they are trying to take more money off the deal by claiming a scratch is structural. The scratch was almost certainly there when I got it in the first place. Sketchy operation, avoid like the plague.

Just over a year ago I sold a bike to these guys, overall somewhat good experience. I opted for store credit, and bought a certified preowned bike from them. The bike was a complete lemon, after spending half its time under my ownership in the shop I finally dialed it in just in time to sell it and search for my next bike. Was curious on what they’d offer me for the bike, on a bike they sold me for $8k, they offered me $2700. Now that doesn’t constitute a 1 star rating, what really did me over the top was the customer service I received at their physical bike shop. I needed a 26 inch tube for my DJ, and when I told them that, they responded from a very high horse ‘we don’t carry those, no one rides 26inch wheels anymore’. Had some friends who worked there, they also left, sounds like the company is going downhill.

I am extremely happy with the pre-owned bike I bought from TPC (great bike) and also with the responsive staff support I got before and after. Excellent all around. Also was impressed that I found the bike by setting up a "notify me" email alert watch via the TPC website, and in just a few days a great option came up. Thanks.

I sold a bike to Pros Closet but needed a clear sense of their process for getting them the bike, as well as getting my money. I received emails, but the opening sentences led me to think something different than what the body said. For example: contact us to find the closest drop off point.....which implies to me they had regional drop off points. But later I'd find out I needed to drive to Louisville Colorado to "drop it off" (140 miles). Their first sentence should have been Prepaid shipping or Louisville. Or I'd get an email that an offer would be coming soon, when later in the same email would be the offer...... I'm a 3 or 4 sentence person,----- just say it please. The process wasn't clean but the offer was fair and I got my money as soon as they received the package. I'd rate them as a 4 if not for that clumsy communication .

Literally one of the best customer service experiences i have ever had .Even tho my bike came in the mail with a few dings and scrapes (shipping) issue , i reached out with my concerns and the same day i was greeted by the pros closet team and they seemed actually concerned and put me as a priority(so rare these days) . I felt like i was actually important and i was offered all the ways they can settle my small issues .Honestly i could not be more satisfied with my whole experience from the super fast shipping to the excellent customer service and the amazing bike i purchased .You all have made a lifetime customer out of me and I’m totally glad i know there are still awesome company’s out there striving to offer the best of the best .Duncan is the best rep out there ! Thanks again !

I want to give a 5 star shout out to Garrett, Ace Service Technician! I am in town for the PiKes Peak Hill Climb Race (aka Broadmoor Cycling Climb Challenge). I had an emergency issue and another shop that was booked suggested Criterium. Garrett happened to answer the phone and said "sure, I can do that, bring it in." He heard the desperation in my voice. Got there in 20 minutes and he got right on it and done in 20 minutes or less and didn't charge extra. He switched out cranksets and then did fine tune adjustments on the entire drive train. He is a total pro, master level Tech, I could tell by watching him work. A real blessing or my participation in tomorrows race may not have happened. Thanks Garrett, and the entire team at Criterium!! Take your bike to them!

Would buy a bike from Ari any day! Loved the personalized service I received when making such a big purchase. Ari took the time to get to know me and my want’s before suggesting a bike. He went 10 extra miles and gave me some pointers to help me become a better mountain biker!

Excellent experience all around. Starting with Megan following up promptly via email on questions I had, then offering a discount code for the bike I was interested in. Placed the order Tuesday afternoon, received Saturday morning (CO to NY). Bike is in excellent condition and matches the site description perfectly. Assembly and adjustments were quick and easy. Had some anxiety about ordering a bike online, but will definitely be shopping here again!

I’ve got to give TPC a huge thumb’s up. The 2021 Trek bike I got was in great shape and exactly as the the mechanic report described.Shipping was fast, and the packaging was well done. Assembly was straight forward and all parts arrived in great condition. The folks at Ride Guide are very helpful and customer focused.Well done!
