Spruce Street, Jeff and his staff, are the only ones I'd trust with my truck. Excellent service, good advice and friendly folks. You can't do better!

Very very poor security and doesn't take accountability for vehicles being broken into or tampered with parts being stolen and catalytic converters being cut off, my business vehicle has been targetedMany times cents it's been there my level of trust for this establishment is no more, Spruce 4x4 auto shop just let the drug addicts do what they want to people's vehicles or the shop could have an addict working in its establishment and I truly hope it's not do to ethnicity all in all it's a dame shame...

Wrangler Body Repair- Honest, practical and friendly! This shop has won our family over. Needed some minor body work done, and this team was honest, prompt, practical, and super friendly. Really appreciated their help fixing our jeep back to its "brand new" condition. Thanks so much Spruce Street!

What a nice surprise to discover Spruce 4 x 4. Spruce is a dying breed of honest, reasonable, friendly, and truly local businesses. They rewired my trailer and got it back to me in two days. The technician proudly talked to me about how he did it and Jeff the owner was my point of contact from the beginning to the end. After this experience with them, I would trust them 100% to do the right thing!Service: Electrical repair

Came in to add a puck lift to my springs. Half of the parts were not used. I had to take it 4 wheel parts to fix this easy install.

I've known Jeff for more than 50 years, he's a Boulder native from when Boulder was the 'real' Boulder. When my '84 F250, 'Hercules', needs work I take it to Jeff.:)

Needed a rear axle seal replaced on my truck (about a 2 hour job); made an appointment with Jeff, the owner (they were scheduling ~7 workdays out). Dropped the car off for my "first car of the day" appointment on Monday; by 4pm I hadn't heard anything so I called. Was told they, "didn't get to it but it will be in the shop first thing Tuesday morning". My wife happened to be in the area Tuesday afternoon and saw that my truck hadn't moved. She stopped and spoke to Jeff who explained they still hadn't touched it, one tech was out with an hand injury another had to appear in court. He promised it would go in first thing Wednesday morning. No call from them on Wednesday. Thursday midday I drove by and the truck still hadn't moved so I went in and asked for my keys. Nothing but "it's not my fault" from Jeff; no apology. Should have read the reviews; seems like this was a decent shop back in the day but in the last two years nothing but complaints. Zero communication from the shop; can't believe anything Jeff says. I'll take my business to someone with a bit more integrity.

I had some upper control arm and ball joints installed at Spruce Street auto. Directly after getting them installed, I took it to get an alignment and they told me the ball joints were installed incorrectly and that it “looked like whoever installed it did not even look at the instructions.” I brought my vehicle back to them to fix the issues and they did. There was cutting required and they sliced my brand new Icon coil overs while doing so and did not paint over any of the cuts and everything is rusting. I really wanted to use these guys as they were all super nice but I had my truck in there way too many times for simples mistakes.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great shop. Will continue to bring my car there - Have a land rover and its hard finding anyone to even work on it. Had a transmission issue, thought the car was done but we talked about it Jeff gave me a quote and it was within $14 of the quote. Car runs smooth. Communication 10/10 - worth it!Service: Auto maintenance

These guys have gotten my 1998 2D Chevy Tahoe in wonderful running condition. Just recently picked it up and had to take it right back, but these guys got it in great running condition again. Lots of crazy stuff. Different language to me. These guys speak the language!Services: Auto maintenance

Pretty good shop, they got me scheduled quickly, easy to work with, responsive, friendly, price in line with the rest of the industry (if not a tad high).Would rate 5 stars, but I believe the intake procedure needs work, communication between the desk and mechanic lead to missing something easy.Took my vehicle in for suspension work, replacing spring insulators, and citing a loud squeak. I asked to have the insulators changed and asked if they would grease the ball joints as I thought that was a possible source of the noise. The mechanic likely didn't drive the vehicle further than from where I parked it, into the bay (at least not far, it would squeak from rocking in the driver's seat...). They never heard the noise, but it was gone when I got the vehicle back. Happy day. When the creak came back 500 miles after the service, I called and the mechanic, who said he never greased the ball joints (front desk said they did). I greased the ball joint myself, borrowing a grease gun from a shop on the road and the noise went away. No big deal really.. but I don't think they test drove the vehicle or even attempted to diagnose the squeak, just swapped parts and sent me on my way.
