Absolutely ridiculously horrible service, had antibiotics waiting for me. Showed up at 4:30 to pick them up, there was a line. It took 28 minutes to get to me in the line then they just closed up shop without serving me at 5 pm on the dot. Horrible service. I’ve never been so disappointed.

I recently moved out of state and transferred a med to CVS close by. They did not have it in stock, so I was told to transfer. I was not able to reach anyone on the phone at several different times and days. I live 30 minutes away from a pharmacy, so I’m not in town frequently. Four days after initiating the transfer at Safeway, I checked at CVS and there was a hold on my prescription. I went in person to Safeway and there was no record of my transfer. The transfer process would have to start again. This ordeal took three weeks to get this prescription meaning I missed over a week of meds. This is unacceptable. Luckily it’s not a lifesaving med, but this is concerning knowing this could happen to someone who needs their meds to stay alive. Online pharmacies are the way to go.

Incredibly short-staffed. They didn't fill a prescription, my doctor called it in again, and they still won't fill it. Over the course of several days I called 30+ times, and they didn't answer the phone once. The actual pharmacists are decent, but it doesn't matter when there aren't enough of them. DO NOT GO HERE! THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS PLACE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!

Very short staffed!! I went to get my wife’s medicine that was called in the day before and they said it would take about 30 minutes. Ok so I did some shopping and went back was told by the next person that it would be about an hour longer because they are a little backed up. So I waited and went back exactly 1 hour and was told by another person that it would be another 1 1/2 hours I told her what the last 2 people said and she said sorry it is what it is we are very understaffed. Guess this is why they have such a low rating score.

Safeway Pharmacy on Arapaho in Boulder is unprofessional, unhelpful, and a disaster of a place to rely on. After one of the worst phone conversations I've ever had with a pharmacist, I decided I'm not going to bother with Safeway Pharmacy. Could someone please teach pharmacist's that they don't only count pills for a living, they actually have to interact with people - yes, humans - not pills.

Worst experience. Older lady running screenings and vaccines was super rude. Showed up to my SCHEDULED appointment and refused to take me in claiming I had no appointment even though she didn’t even bother to check or take down my verification code. Do better.

Have gone here for years, but recently they have hung up on me, ever answer the phone and just seem to busy to deal with a customer. Very unfortunate

Pharmacist refused to fill my medication because it was 45 minutes before they closed even tho they had the prescription for 2 days.
