Would give zero stars, if possible. Instead of notifying customers when a prescription is not in stock (and won't be for weeks or months), they wait till the customer shows up in person or calls to check on the status. What kind of way is that to run a pharmacy?

Absolute incompetence. Making people go back multiple times to their doctor to re phone in their Rx. Then finally getting it called in, and then showing up and it’s not filled two days later. Then coming back 3 hours later and it’s still not filled. Then you wait while everyone else gets helped. The staff are either super nice or totally lacking in customer service skills. Rude and slow AF. Go to the WALGREENS on 28 for better service and prices.

This pharmacy is painfully understaffed! Aside from the seemingly standard delays in prescription fills then long pickup lines, I have had several issues using their online app where the order has some random problem then just sits there. The staff has always tried to be helpful but the fact that you have to go in person then wait in a long line to have any problem solved is ridiculous.

1. Three days after a script was sent to them it still had not been prepared. Comment from pharmacist was “ I have prescriptions that have been waiting for 10 days that I have not filled.”2. They never answer the phone because they’re understaffed. Staff is rude and overworked. I will never go back to Safeway pharmacy again.3. My husband went to Safeway pharmacy with a script for Paxlovid because I contracted Covid a week ago. Paxlovid is literally a box that needs a prescription sticker on it. They told him it would take two hours to prepare.

Called the phone to speak to a pharmacy staff member 11 times in a row only for no one to answer every single time. It is within operating hours. No one is answering.

Sarah helped me as I picked up a prescription at the Safeway pharmacy today. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Very effective at her job ?. Thanks to you, Sarah, I'll be using Safeway pharmacy again.

The worst. You have to go in person (because they don’t answer their phones) multiple times in order for them to put your refill requests through. I put in a refill request two weeks ago and my doctor still hasn’t received it, this is the third month in a row.

As others have said, they are taking it quite easy, almost never answering calls, and you need to arrive 10min before they open up again or expect long wait times.

Hello management! Can we talk? My health insurance just stopped being accepted at King Soopers, so I have pretty much no alternative but to come to Safeway. Why is the pharmacy here SOOO painfully understaffed? They’re clearly overworked and overwhelmed. I’ve had to spend all day at times just trying to get someone on the phone at this pharmacy location! The line to pick up meds is currently 8 people deep and taking forever. How does a sickly person manage to get their meds here??! On top of that, every item in the store is at least $1-$2 more than at King Soopers. Which adds up very quickly. Where is the extra money going? Clearly not to staffing!

Yesterday was the 4th time I have been to this pharmacy and I always feel sick to my stomach when I know I have to pick up a prescription. The techs are rude and act like they are doing you a HUGE favor by waiting on you. It takes them 10 mins to even acknowledge your presence. I actually called out the woman who rudely served me and asked why she was being so rude? I said I was sorry she was having a bad day but she shouldn't be taking it out on me. I will NEVER go back to that pharmacy and will have have my prescriptions mailed to me moving forward.

Terrible pharmacy! They do not answer their phone or return voice-mails. Left me without a needed medication after confirming the prescription could be filled. No phone call from them on that either. Eventually had to change pharmacies because after 3 months of back-and-forth, they still could not figure out how to fill one of my meds.

they rarely answer the phone and when you leave a msg, they never call back and there is always a line to pickup rx, I am looking for a new pharmacy.
