Safeway Pharmacy is a conveniently located one-stop shop within the Safeway store. The staff is generally described as knowledgeable, professional, cheerful, friendly, helpful, patient, and efficient, doing their best even when busy or seemingly understaffed. While lines can be long at times and waits can occur, it is often noted as being better than other local pharmacies like Walgreens, with shorter lines most often. The hours are convenient, though there is a short closure for a lunch break. The pharmacy offers a variety of services including filling and transferring prescriptions, flu vaccinations, shingles shots, back-to-school vaccines, safe drug disposal, and filling pet prescriptions. It accepts most forms of insurance. A convenient process is to drop off a prescription, do your shopping, and pick it up when finished. While generally positive, experiences with wait times can vary, and there are occasional mentions of rushed or rude service. The pharmacy also offers a program to earn savings by filling new or transferred prescriptions.
We had one pain prescription that never got filled a couple of times. We were pretty irritated by it!

Friendly, efficient, and helpful staff. It's much better than other local pharmacies. Most often, 1 to 3 people are ahead of me in line. The photo is from the parking lot.

Personable and professional are my only criteria, and they pass.
