I am extremely disappointed by my experience at the Boulder location of America's Auto and Tire. My car started shaking and making noise from the gas valve reading and then a check engine light came on in my car and I had it read and printed out at a nearby O'Reillys. I brought this paper with a check engine code to Boulder Roadmasters and described what I had experienced and asked them if they could fix it. They said yes, it was likely the solenoid valve and they could replace it. They did this, but a few weeks later, the check engine light came back on, so I returned it to the shop. They then told me that the problem was something besides the solenoid valve and that I needed a diagnostic and more work on my car to solve the issue.
I was very upset because they worked on my car without checking the check engine code first and didn't even fix the problem, but instead replaced a system that was not faulty. I brought this to the attention of the manager, David, and he told me it was my fault because I had not requested a diagnostic beforehand and he was under the impression that I just wanted my solenoid valve replaced. The manager, David, had checked me in originally and at no time had he suggested or offered to run diagnostics. It seems like a shady deal to make the shop more money, because I assume any reputable place would insist on running diagnostics before charging a customer almost $500 to replace a system. I cannot stress again how upset I am by the money I paid and the lack of service I received, on top of the manager's reaction to this issue. I would absolutely not recommend this shop and I would never again trust what the store manager, David, says, as it seems he is not a mechanic or a manager, but a shady individual trying to trick people out of their money.

They could not seem to fix my alignment after bringing the truck there 2x. Honestly, one of the most dishonest car shops i’ve been to. When I picked up my car, the tire was seeping air and a TIRE SHOP wouldn’t admit to messing up my tire, nor fix it for me. Take your car anywhere in Boulder, take it from me and the several other 1 star reviews. The 4 and 5 star reviews are clearly made by their employees at store and corporate levels

We had just come down the mountain with a trailer that was too heavy and we cooked our brakes and Ben and the crew hooked us up with new brakes all around. They were professional and amazingly nice. I would definitely recommend them.

I received a coupon for a $38 oil change and tire rotation, so I decided to try them. Dropped my 16 year old Honda off in the morning and when I picked it up that evening, I was told the coupon was not valid for my vehicle and that the oil change would be $103 because my vehicle required synthetic oil. The owners manual does not state synthetic is required and no one called to inform me my service price would be more than double. I was also surprised to not receive any inspection notes that are common with other oil changes like fluid levels, tire pressure and tread depth, brake inspection, etc…

Incredible customer service!! I called in the morning about purchasing snow tires for an upcoming trip. Dave helped me select tires and even applied a coupon for me. However the tires I originally ordered weren't available so Dave drove to Denver to pick up even nicer tires for me, and sold them at the original quoted price. This was super kind and the tires are awesome. Thanks for the great service Dave!!!

While I was at a nearby coffee shop, a friend pointed out that one of my tires looked dangerously low. I walked across the parking lot and asked if Roadmasters could look at it. They said they could look and hopefully get it back to me in 2 to 3 hours. They had it fixed within 30 minutes, and sent me on my way! I was very impressed with the kindness, professionalism, conscientiousness, and speed with which they helped me when I just walked in with an immediate issue.

Roadmasters has a really friendly team and they certainly get the job done but they aren’t always the speediest or communicative about the status of your car if a service is taking longer than intended.
