I am thrilled with my experience at Rackstarz! As someone who’s not the savviest with racks, the staff were super patient with me and very friendly! They walked me through all of my options and answered my questions. I was able to get my rack installed quickly and they did an amazing job! Overall, rackstarz definitely exceeded my expectations!! Really appreciated the positive atmosphere and efficiency. Top-notch service, highly recommend!

I have a Thule case which ended up with a broken hinge. Due to having a disability, I didn't have the ability to bring the case into the store as it was in my basement. After explaining this to the gentleman at the store, he was kind enough to send one of his associates over to my house and fix it in my basement, I was blown away by their generosity and kindness in my situation. I will definitely be back to buy more equipment from the store.

Very favorable experience with RackStarz Boulder today. I needed a simple replacement bolt for my Yakima box. The shop staff came out to look at my rig, determined what was needed, then came back out with the part and gave it to me free of charge. Very pleased. Will def return when I need a new rack or box for my vehicle.

Great customer service! Worth any extra you might pay versus online only purchases. They are super responsive to your needs even going above and beyond what you are purchasing there. They even helped me with a mountain bike rack I didn’t purchase there. They are generous with their support of your requests even before you purchase anything. This made me want to come back in the fall and make sure I purchased my cargo box from them. Every single employee has been great but this time Alfredo helped me with my purchase and Jack also jumped in to support with installation. The management should keep up what they are doing running this store because it shows in the great customer service.

I have had great experiences here in the past. Not yesterday. I did not get his name, but he was no help at all. In the past, associates have come out to look at my vehicle and help me get exactly what I need. This guy wouldn’t even get out of his chair, even when I told him that I might need to show him what I am looking for. He insisted there was no option available for what I need, even though you are a Yakima dealer. He said it was unlikely Chevrolet would have any options…turns out they do. I found Yakima options online today also. Any of these things I am confident could have been purchased through you, but I guess I will buy online instead. I talked to this guy on the phone once before also…just not friendly or helpful.

Shout out to Dustin - I was headed to CO for a biking trip - found out I’d locked my bikes to the rack without keys. He went above and beyond to make sure we got my bikes off and the trip was amazing. Would highly recommend!!

Unbelievable,I purchased a set of Yakima Universal Mighty Mounts as recommended by the salesperson at the store. I needed a system to attach my bike racks to the cross bars on my Ford F-150.I assembled the mounts according to the instructions, attached them to the cross bars, and secured the two bicycles.As I backed down the driveway my first two truck tires rolled onto the street. The bike’s immediately fell off the roof of my truck! The one bike dented the driver side door on the way down. (Just a small dent)The mounts had broken, and the bikes fell off, still attached to the bike racks. I had not even got all the way off my driveway.I went back to return the mounts and the store refused to take them back,,,,what???They told me that I have to deal with Yakima myself through their warranty program.Rackstarz actually thinks they should keep the money even though I got no use from this product. He told me that he can’t take them back because they’re broken. That’s the reason that I brought them back.If that’s their return policy then I’d recommend shipping someplace else. Nice enough people but no customer service for me on this event. They have lots of cool stuff in the store, but I’ll never go back there.Phil H.

I bought a set of Yakima universal mighty mounts at the recommendation of the sales person at tho Boulder store. I assembled the mounts per the instructions, mounted them on my truck roof crossbars and loaded two bikes into the Yakima bike racks that were attached to the new mounts. When the first two tires of my truck touched the street from my driveway the mounts broke, the bikes fell over and one dented my door and fell all the way to the ground. They were still connected to the bike racks. The mounts failed before I'd even left my driveway. I went to the store to return the mounts and they refused to take them back.......really??? I got no use out of the mounts and I got a small dent in my truck for good measure, and they won't take them back. Unbelievable. They said that I have to work with Yakima warranty department myself. They said they could not deal with Yakima, even though they are a distributor for them. No customer service here, I'll shop elsewhere. Phil H

A big shout out to Alfredo! I couldn’t open either lock on my Yakima box. He went above and beyond getting them to both be in working condition when I left.I couldn’t be more thankful for the time he spent standing in the rain to help me.I highly recommend this location. It’s been very good service each time I’ve gone inThank you!

Great shop. We have a Yakima roof top storage and needed to fix the lock (along with some other small roof top bar items). The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It was a painless process which anyone could only dream of. We will be going back for future maintenance and new needs. Thanks you RackStarz.

I contacted Rackstarz about a year ago hoping to put a roofbasket and some lights on my Jeep Cherokee. When I did it I thought it was a little pricey costing me about $1600 for four lights atop a basket. Little did I know that the lights and presumably the basket have a lifetime guarantee! So when there was an issue with the wiring the technicians took the time and energy to fix it and make it right for free! I find their customer service to be top notch and their products to be the same level. I highly recommend them!
