If I could give a zero, I would. While the car was in the shop, all four tires were stolen off of our car and replaced with dangerous, bald ones. My daughter could have been in a serious accident. Within minutes of leaving the garage (for A/C and fan belt repair), the front bumper and a wheel well fell off of the car. The next morning, a flat tire. The fact that new Bridgestones (less than 10K miles) were replaced with bald, 2017 Michelins was discovered by bringing the car to a tire shop. Really, really disappointing.
Response to Pete's: You are responsible for the security of vehicles left in your care. I thought that this was a reputable business. Will never recommend.

What in the actual….???
I am so disheartened by my experience with this place. I tried them out because they were near to my work and had a loaner car for me to borrow.
I had a leaking axil seal. Long story short they sent me away for a week because they didn’t have the part. I brought it back in and kept it for 6 days only to tell me when I went to pick it up that the part didn’t fit AGAIN and that they had called all over to find the right one. I took the car, called a random dealership and found the part in 5 seconds. I took my car to different repair shop who told me I actually had 2 seals leaking (which only cost me an extra $16) and that they had run into something with the car and broke a piece off that was dragging on the ground (I wondered what that sound was!) AND they didn’t put all the bolts back in when they put the car back together.
I’m at a loss. I have learned my lesson in going somewhere that hasn’t been recommended. I don’t know a lot about cars but these guys seem like they had zero clue what they were doing.

These guys hooked it up! Great prices and they went above and beyond with their service. I was stressed and they went out of their way to double check my concerns and ease my mind. My car has never run smoother. Joe is so nice and trustworthy! I was given a quote at another mechanic shop for $500 and at Pete’s it was a $93 job, They are honest and amazing 10/10 recommend!!

Hands down the best mechanics in all of Denver. It is genuinely awesome how they saved the day for me and my wife. I won't take my cars anywhere else for as long as I live in the Denver metro.
20/5 stars.

Just had such a horrible experience! James has no clue whats going on, hard to believe that man works on vehicles. Very unprofessional and completely clueless! I do NOT! Recommend this shop and I will be spreading the word so others won’t have the same experience I just had! Whew ! lol

Been coming here a few years now and couldn’t be happier with my experience. John is great. He always shoots you straight and doesn’t push unnecessary stuff on you. Just recently brought my car in and he found something wrong with my sway bar and struts and what not. It wasn’t what I brought it in for but he found it and it was the only really expensive fix he’s suggested since coming here. And I’m telling you my car is driving better than it has in a long time. It’s like I didn’t realize how bad it was until he fixed it. Like a new car. Worth every penny. All this to say this place is honest and thorough. What more could you want

I wouldn’t recommend this shop, even if they’re kind and cheap. You need someone who knows the ins and outs of vehicles.
I had a shop previously quote me over a grand for an alternator install. I’m a college student and can’t afford that. These guys did it for $650. It was my mistake finding someone cheaper.
I brought my car in, and they had promised me a shop car so that I could have transportation. I get there bright and early, expecting to drive the shop car to class and they didn’t have it.
I walked home and assumed it was a one off thing - sometimes the job doesn’t get done in time. That same day, they had my car ready with a new alternator. Seems nice.
The next day, I’m driving and all of the power in the car shuts off, and by some grace i’m able to drive home with the engine still running.
I take the car back the same day, a Friday, and Monday morning I get a call that they found nothing wrong with the car. So the car starts up and I take it home, but it REEKS OF CIGARETTES AND STILL DOES A WEEK LATER!
By the way, they had the shop car that Friday, and it DIDNT HAVE A FUNCTIONING DRIVER SIDE SEATBELT. It goes without saying that I didn’t take their car home.
Fine, you’ve forced me to go ahead and drive far as hell to someone that I know can fix the issue. I pay another $700 for an alternator install, bring the faulty one back to shop.
This next mechanic found the issue and called me within 30 minutes.
I took the alternator back to shop and asked for a refund purely on parts. What was their answer? We can’t warranty it. I didn’t know what this meant and asked them to explain again. Answer? We can’t warranty it.
Fine that was my fault for going somewhere not in network, and asking for a service and not a diagnosis, but Pete’s Garage certainly wasn’t going to get my car fixed when I needed it fixed. This a free market and I should be able to take my car to the person I like.
At the end of the day, take your car to a trusted mechanic or the dealership; at least they have some integrity and will fix their mistakes and not offer you a car without a working seatbelt.

They were quick and helpful. They were very clear in relaying what all the car needed and prompt in letting me know any updates.

Ladies, women, anyone who wants to feel like they are seen & treated like a real human being, and can trust the assessment and work being done on their vehicle- look no further! John & James were amazing, respectful, and have a return customer in me. Great communication, timely work, fair prices, and honest evaluation of my car. So grateful, thanks again!!

Pretty awful experience. Took my car in due to a tail light issue. Both of the technicians I spoke to were definitely stoned, I really wish I was joking. I came to pick up my vehicle after my first appointment and there were no technicians in the shop. I had to wait 20 minutes for one to show up and he reeked of cannabis. The following appointment the guy at the desk forgot to return my keys and then proceeded to tell me that he already gave them to me, until I literally pointed them out on his desk. They ran a diagnostic on my truck and the technician couldn’t remember if I needed to replace the right tail light or left tail light at the end of it. Had to bring my car in two separate times before they even took a look at it. Really poor customer service, as they couldn’t even refer me to a manager or someone to speak with about the problem.Edit: literally went home after picking it up, fixed the problem in like 15 minutes, thank you guys for wasting my time and giving me the wrong diagnostic✌️
