These people are thrives and liars. Tried doubling the fee and was charging me for there driver to come back from another tow. Then wen I cancels the man was yelling at me . Finally he agree to refund the initial deposit and said it would be 72 hours. Well that went way beyond and then when I contacted again he said it would be another 24 hours. And I would receive an email. I did receive the email however that email stated it would be another 10 days. This is bad and unprofessional business. BEWARE

My brother in law (cars owner) was not allowed to retrieve my personal items upon arrival at the yard. Including work items and my house, storage and other keys. Upon lengthy reading thru past reviews, I noticed one reply saying their employees recommend drivers should remove any personal items at the time of tow. I was taken by ambulance to the ER at BCH. I was not given opportunity to gather my things nor was I in a condition to do so. My brother in law was told the car must have current registration and plates to be allowed access to get my belongings, and the expired temp tag (actually missing due to theft) was stopping them from allowing access. They were extremely rude, and would provide no further information. Unless I’m reading this wrong, they are doing so illegally:Section 4 CCR 723-6-6512 - Release of Motor Vehicle and Personal Property(a) The towing carrier shall immediately accept payment of the drop charge, towing, storage, and release charges if payment is offered in cash or by valid major credit card. Accepted forms of payment may be annotated on the tow record/invoice so long as the required options are offered to the person to whom the motor vehicle is being released. The towing carrier may accept other forms of payment, but must accept payment by both MasterCard and Visa. A towing carrier shall not require "cash only" for a drop charge or to release a motor vehicle from its storage facility. The towing carrier shall release the motor vehicle to:(I) the motor vehicle owner, authorized operator, or authorized agent of the owner of the motor vehicle;(II) the lienholder or agent of the lienholder of the motor vehicle; or(III) the insurance company or agent of the insurance company providing coverage on the motor vehicle, if released to the insurance company by the owner.(b) A towing carrier that accepts for storage a motor vehicle that has been towed as a nonconsensual tow shall provide access to or release of the motor vehicle to the persons authorized for release of the motor vehicle in paragraph (a) of this rule either:(I) with one hour's notice during all times other than the towing carrier's business hours that occur within the first 24 hours of storage; or(II) upon demand during the carrier's business hours.(c) Failure to notify. A towing carrier holding a motor vehicle in storage who cannot demonstrate that it has made a good faith effort, as set forth in §§ 42-4-1804 and 42-4-2103, C.R.S., to comply with the notification requirements of Parts 18 and 21 of Article 4 of Title 42, C.R.S., and § 42-5-109, C.R.S., shall release the motor vehicle at no charge to the persons authorized for release of the motor vehicle in paragraph (a) of this rule.(d) The towing carrier may charge up to the maximum rate for a nonconsensual tow established in paragraph 6511(b) for the removal of personal property that is not attached to or part of the equipment of the motor vehicle. The towing carrier shall release such personal property upon request from the owner, authorized operator, or authorized agent of the owner of the motor vehicle. This fee shall not be assessed for any of the items addressed under paragraphs 6512(g), (h), (i), and (j).—Reading reviews shows absolute refusal to take accountability for their mistakes and shyte behavior. Deflecting everything back to the many victims of their narcissistic methods and actions. Leaving a bad review, I’m certain I will soon be told how I am not on their list and my brother was at fault somehow for their shortcomings, therefore this review has been edited for accuracy.

I had a problem with my car at a local car wash, it would not start. I called Marv’s on a recommendation from a local shop. As the driver was about to load my vehicle, we were going to put in neutral and my car started! The driver followed me to the shop and made sure I made it, which I did.Thank You!!

Came out very promptly. I was brokedown north of Longmont and they were there in less than an hour. Nicholas was great and very helpful getting my car into my parking spot at my apartment, due to it being late Sunday night.

This company is staffed entirely by lifesavers. My wife and I waited two hours for AAA to send a tow truck out, with no updates and no indication of how long they would take. We called Marv's, and Amy answered right away - she took our information, our location, and 20 minutes later our driver Kaylee was already loading up our vehicle.Through every step of the way, the staff - both dispatchers and drivers - were superlatively helpful, sympathic, and professional. We won't even bother with AAA next time - Marv's will be our first call!

Called for a jump start. The lady who answered the phone told that help would be available within an hour and the person would call. After calling again when no one called me back after 1.5hrs the lady tells me it's going to be more than 2hrs.Disappointed with the service and had to cancel since the wait time was ridiculous. Please be up front on your availability so that people can make the decision on whether to use your service or not.

Marv’s is the ONLY tow company that anyone should use in Boulder. The owner Brandon is a godsend. Marv’s is fast to respond, incredibly efficient, and will be unbelievably kind in your time of need. Don’t even bother with other companies! Marv’s for life!

Do NOT call or waste your time. The lady we spoke to brushed me off twice over a 5 hour waiting period, wrongly assuring me a tow truck was on the way after I checked in twice over a 5 hour waiting period after being hit by an oil tanker on I70. The tow truck never showed up for us and indeed the lady we spoke to didn't check the paperwork properly and was referencing the status of another dispatch. The lady on the phone said "sounds like you guys figured it out"... But we are still waiting to be towed. No accountability for the mistake and did not care. It was actually comical how bad it was.

Our car was deemed “abandon” by the city of boulder parking after 11 days of being parked in front of a friends house. it was operable, parked legally, and everything was up to date in the plates. This towing company towed it for them. By the time we knew our car had been towed they told us we took on $600+ of fees. More than the car is worth. it was no longer worth it for us to try and get our car back. When speaking with this towing company they told us that we would have to pay the fees or else our car would be sold. Our car was stolen by the city of boulder and this company didn’t have it in them to recognize that and help us. The woman my husband spoke to hung up the phone and said they couldn’t help. Now they will make a profit off our stolen vehicle. I don’t know how nobody felt any conviction in the matter. this is theft and nobody is going to be held accountable.
