Can't remember the last time I had such a bad experience with a company and its product. We bought a chair, it broke, and they refused to repair it, refused to provide me with the parts to repair it myself, and were overall horrible. I could not recommend enough that you DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MADE BY KELTY.

Bought a high end sleeping mattress from Kelty quite recently. One of the plugs for the mattress went missing. When I contacted Kelty they stated they they have no replacement parts at all for my model of mattress (which is very new). This renders the mattress completely useless. What a waste, would never buy anything from this company again. Go somewhere reputable for true enthusiasts instead.

Didn't realize customer service could be this bad for Kelly. I have many of their products and have used them for years. Probably will never do it again. I bought a canopy and it was defective.
I tried reaching out to customer service and the whole process is a silly.

This company'ss customer service is about as bad as I have ever seen. I stated that I work for a Colorado based company and was interested in their products being as they are from here in the state. I used the contact us email to inquire about making a large purchase, over 200 of one of their products, a spend of over $5,000.00. I emailed multiple times, months apart, without any reply. I have called them and left messages for customer service without return. Maybe this company is no longer in business??

Bought a $200 Bodie 2 tent, pole broke 1st time we used it. I sent pictures to Kelty showing them. They emailed me months later saying they would replace the pole, but wanted the reciept. I told Jonathan I was not gonna spend a bunch of time digging up paperwork for Kelty and asked to be mailed the pole, no dice he continued with the paperwork nonsense. Just avoid this company, bad gear, run around on warranty issues, shop elsewhere.

I have owned my Kelty Circuit 3 for over a year now, and it instantly became my favorite tent I've ever had. I love the panoramic night time views and am impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. Last week I noticed a broken pole and was devastated. I called to ask about a replacement pole and learned it was covered by a lifetime warranty!!! What an amazing company, I will forever be a Kelty consumer and have already told all my friends. Thank you so much!!Ps. Save your receipts

My problem is not with the replacement strap; but, their customer service was the worst. The replacement part I ordered was only $10. But, I paid $21+ for overnight shipping. After waiting, waiting, waiting, I learned from the delivery history that Kelty did not even get the shipping info to Fed Ex for 4 1/2 days. It then arrived two days later. Overnight? Kelty, you had the nerve to charge $21 for overnight delivery, and then YOU TAKE 4 1/2 days to get it to Fed Ex??? Then, Kelty "adds insult to injury". I have written them twice. I only get automated responses saying they will write to me very shortly. Three weeks later, still silence. $21 for overnight delivery; but, you take 4 1/2 days to get it over to FedEx. THEN, you ignore my communications? No wonder Kelty's son started his own company (Sierra West).

Completely unethical company. As a Colorado resident, I typically try to buy local as much as possible. Unfortunately, I will no longer consider any Kelty products after my most recent experience. Additionally, I will be sure to inform other consumers about their asinine behavior. I placed an order online and received a confirmation email for the order. About 2 hours later, I received notice that the order was cancelled by Kelty. No reason was provided, and I was even willing to wait for the product if it was on back order. However, the product was in stock and listed at full price--no indication that the order would not be filled. The only reason I can think of why they cancelled the order is because I used a 25% off coupon I had been saving. Its a shame that they are willing to lose customers because of $27 in savings.

I already love this company! Heading out to Senegal for the peace corps next week and I love that Kelty is a big supporter of our work. Called customer service to make sure my bag would arrive in time and the woman on the phone (I believe named Rose) was so nice and helpful. Really excited to pack the only bag I'll have for the next two years of my life! Unfortunately I won't have the time to rate the bag but after reading all the reviews online and the experience I had today with Kelty, I'm very excited!

Great customer service. when you call them up, you get to speak to a person who tries to address any issues you're having. they stand by their products and are very good about doing what is right for their customers. i bought their 20 degree sleeping bag and was chilly while camping in 40 degree temps, i sent them my bag and they verified the weight of the bag and determined it was a bit underweight and they very quickly sent me a replacement. fantastic customer service - i wish more companies (ahem Hertz) would do it right like this. will be looking at kelty products for future purchases.

I love the Queen size Airbed we bought a few months ago for our guest bedroom. Guests love it too. So when it began to lose air when I filled it, I was crushed. I called the company and spoke to April and told her where the leak was coming from (the pump), she offered to send me out a brand new one for free. Who does that these days? We are well-pleased to say the least. Woo Hoo! Thank you Kelty. A month or so later...Well...the one they sent me, did not stay inflated. We called Kelty and guess what? They sent us another one. Whoa! The one they sent is sooooooo bad a*s, that I just cannot say enough about this company. They are beyond cool.
