John is excellent. He communicates and stays in touch before the appointment. He confirmed the appointment in the morning and showed up right on time. He’s clearly a professional who knows his craft. I made an appointment with John after the dryer started making terrible noises. He was great! He was able to come in a few days, texted me on the day to remind me of the appointment, and arrived on time. But by then the noises had stopped. Even so, John checked the dryer out. He preformed a routine maintenance including adding lubricant to the ball bearings, which he thought might have been the cause of the noise. He also advised me to have the vent cleaned. It was freezing when he came and he had to work in a small unheated utility room that opened to the outside, but he still completed the service. The price was more than reasonable. He's the person I'll call the next time something else goes wrong!Service: Dryer repair

We asked John to check out our dryer, which broke mid-cycle. John came right at the start of the 2 hour window, was quite thorough, and told us that it would be better to just replace the unit - that was after an extensive assessment of the dryer, considering its age, etc. I will definitely call John next time I need help with appliances!Service: Dryer repair

John helped us with a simple repair on our aging refrigerator about two months ago. Then, when the circuit board failed, he recommended a patch-work approach to keep it working until we could procure a replacement. His honesty allowed us to keep some cooling to occur, without incurring a large, bridge cost. This is how appliance repair should be done -- and John's does it that way.Service: Refrigerator repair
