Went in for an issue with my blinker on my 2012 VW jetta a couple of months ago. They tried everything, even special ordered parts same-day. Ultimately, I needed a new headlight assembly. I appreciated their problem solving and honesty. ~$80 diagnostic. I didn't go for the new assembly, but I trust these guys!

I took a 2002 Eurovan to Indian Peaks for pre-purchase inspection. One great comment from the mechanic was "it is a good one, but needs some love". While it needed more work than I had anticipated, they were honest and clear on the work and expense. I bought the van and just finished having the necessary items replaced/repaired so I feel confident in getting going on some road trips. It is driving much more smoothly now! Everyone who I interacted with (Jamie, Kevin, Adis) was very welcoming and patient with my many questions. Jamie even took me to see an important item that was to be worked on and explained the details. Yay!

Jamie, Adis Kevin, you did it again, taking care of my beloved Eurovan. On this 95° day, I appreciate your A/C service. Conditioned air now coming out of the dash: left 45°F, center 43°F, right 45°F.

We live in a Eurovan mechanics dessert, so we decided to combine a trip to the cooler climes of NM and CO with a stop at Indian Peaks to have our transmission torque converter ( ’02 EVC) checked out together with a general once-over. Jamie suggested replacing a couple solenoids and ribbon strip to address the TC error code, together with new bushings for front torsion bar. They had us back on the road in a short order - great folks to work with.

I had a transmission sensor failure with my VW Eurovan camper in the mountains driving from my home in Oregon to Estes Park for a wedding. My brother had already highly recommended Indian Peaks Auto from his experiences with his own Eurovan and I got it towed there and luckily made it to the wedding another way. Jamie and Kevin were incredibly helpful and Jamie called me several times to talk me through the details of what they were finding as they were working through it. I am lucky that the problem arose close enough to Boulder to get it there and I very much appreciate their professionalism and the time they took to educate me on the problems they found. Definite five stars :)

I've never felt more taken care of by a mechanic team than Indian Peak Auto. It's like having a family member who is a car expert. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Great shop to take care of my Eurovan! They took care of everything I needed and they didn’t try to come up with all kinds of extra work that wasn’t necessary. Nice to know a shop where they do good honest work you can trust!

A shout-out long overdue. Been working with Jamie and his team to take care of my ‘02 Eurovan for years now and feel like I’m always in great hands. I always feel I can 100% trust them with reasonable charges and to do exactly what needs to be done.I also briefly owned a Subaru WRX that was giving me problems with the turbo, they quickly realized what the problem was and took care of it for a small charge.A few times I also got great advice over the phone to troubleshoot small stuff in on my own too.Best and most reliable and knowledgeable mechanics I have ever worked with. Don’t need to look anywhere else for Eurovan work, and if I ever got another car I would start here for sure.

Disgrace!I strongly recommend that you do not go to this mechanic, where there are people who have no idea or knowledge about the mechanics of the car. They say that they repair Audi on their website, but they do not even have VCDS. They change parts according to the response of a simple OBD2 and rip people off. I went because the oil light was on, and as a result of the diagnosis, they told me that the car doors were painted, my 4 tires were different from each other, some parts of my car were aftermarket, and they charged $200 for it. Then they received 2 hours labor fee for spark plug and ignition coils. (I called back 3 minutes after giving approval for the spark plug replacement and they said they had already changed it. They charged 2 hours of labor for 3 minutes of work.) I paid $650 for the replacement of spark plugs. The problem was not solved of course. I said that the problem might be from PCV Valve. They said no, definitely not. Then they said they need to replace the oil pressure sensor and oil pressure switch. I paid another $1000 for these two easy replacements. The problem was still not resolved. After that, the only piece of PCV Valve remained unchanged. They called and said that definitely the most smartest thing would be to replace the PCV Valve. They asked for a fee of $700. After that, of course, I didn't stay there any longer. I replaced the PCV Valve myself with the part I bought online for $30. The problem was still not resolved. As a result of my research, I realized that the problem was caused by the Oil pressure switch. But this isn't the brown one that the mechanics replaced. Another blue colored oil pressure switch. The brown one measures the oil pressure at high rpm, while the blue one measures the oil pressure at low rpm. I just got this. Those who call themselves mechanics knew the problem was at low rpm, but they still replaced the brown oil pressure switch because the brown switch was easy to reach (just above the engine, it takes only 1 minute to replace). They charged me only $400 for the $20 part and 1 minute labor work. They didn't even change the blue one. As a result, I paid around $1700 and received the car as I gave it. They couldn't fix anything. It may be that the car may not be fixed as a result of the repair, but the point I am criticizing is that these guys do this job without their knowledge and earn money.

Jamie and his team helped me evaluate and ultimately purchase a ‘97 Eurovan camper from a third party. Jamie was thorough and extremely helpful. He shared his knowledge about the van and its condition, and after I bought it helped with the repairs. He had been generous with his time and his expertise is incredible!Services: Vehicle Inspection
