I had the most amazing experience with Aria at Hurdle's Jewelry Store. I took in a sentimental ring (my mothers wedding set) that cost $99.00 50 years ago. My mom wore it just 38 days short of 40 years when my dad passed of cancer. My mom gave me the ring and told me I could do whatever I wanted to with it.I walked into Hurdle's on a Wednesday afternoon, Aria greeted me and when I explained I wanted to turn the ring into a necklace (without breaking the bank) she was immediately on board and helped me sketch out some designs. I left the ring with her and we communicated back and forth via email a couple of days and when it was perfect she told me it would be a week and a half to completion. It was a week when she emailed me to say it was complete.I was filled with joy when I saw the pendant and couldn't wait to show my mom who had no idea I was making a pendant (or had cut up her wedding set). I Facetimed my mom as she lives in Kansas and showed her my new necklace. At first she was like "oh, that is pretty", "where did you get it", "that looks like you simple and dainty" and then all of a sudden she gasped and said "OH, THATS MY WEDDING RING, WOW, I LIKE THAT". She didn't recognize it as I had changed the diamond setting and had it coated in rhodium so it is shiny!!My mom loved it and I love it! The ring has 40 years of stories so far and I can't wait to add more stories to the pendant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH ARIA and HURDLE'S.

Years ago, when I lived in Boulder, I had Hurdle's help design and eventually make my wife's custom engagement ring.The process was very easy: I talked to a gentleman named Keith, and we worked out a design together, 3d images were produced so that I could see exactly what was being made and the engagement ring was exactly what we had discussed... just shinier. Every time we visit Boulder, my wife swings by and they clean it for free all these years later.

I’ve been a customer for 25 years. Have bought new jewelry and they have also done custom work on more than one occasion for me-they always stand by their work and make it right until you are happy. They also cheerfully handle small repairs promptly!

I learned of Hurdles by visiting my sister. It is a top quality, caring and excellent jewelry store. If I lived in Boulder, I would be there probably too much for my budget! Hurdles is truthful and fair in its expertise of all jewelry.My home is in western PA, outside of Philadelphia, and there is no jeweler like Hurdles in this area.

I have used Hurdles for 20 plus years. They are the best jeweler in Colorado. I had some family stones to add to a wedding and engagement ring. They are one of the few jewelers that will create custom jewelry. The consignment side of the house is great too. Highly highly recommend.

I have been using Hurdle's since I moved here in the mid 80's, and have always had a great experience. I have used them extensively for jewelry repair and redesign, and have been so impressed. No job was too small, they had great ideas for re-purposing old pieces, and they always improved the pieces greatly. On top of that, they were always warm and welcoming. A downtown treasure!

Went in and the owner helped me but before that he had helped two women in front of me and gave them a rough estimate of their ring. I didn't see that they were charged anything. I asked, can you give me a rough estimate on my ring and he said I would have to charge you and all of this. I paid of my jewelry and just left. Bad customer service.

I have shopped at Hurdle's for 40 years and have ALWAYS had great service, reasonable pricing, and of course, the pleasure of enjoying beautiful jewelry. Hurdle's has done many jewelry repairs for me, and, when some silver spoons got mauled by the garbage disposall, have restored them to shiny newness. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and have an interesting and varied selection. Watches, rings, necklaces, earrings - everything from there still brings me delight.

We always go to a number of jewelry stores around the country whenever we leave home (California). That's because there's no substitute for seeing in person pieces we might like. During holiday trips to the Boulder-Denver area, it's a visit to Hurdle's for us w/o fail. Why? Hurdle's has fine pieces we've found nowhere else. Quite avid about this.

Hurdle's Jewlery has been our go to place for over 20 years! The service is always wonderful and they truly care about their customers. From our beautiful wedding set, anniversary bands, watches and amazing cleaning of jewelry found after the Marshall Fire, they are always fantastic!
