Also, he went above and beyond, I had a drill press in my truck that needed to be fixed and he came out and help with that too! I will definitely be returning here. Great customer service!”

“We've lived in many different parts of the country, and McGuckin is by far the best, and most interesting, hardware store there is. First, the customer service is uniformly outstanding. Whenever I've asked a green vest where something is, they drop what they're doing, take me there, and help me find the right one of whatever I'm looking for. Second, they seem to carry everything. Example -- I went in the other day looking for a replacement for a small plastic strap buckle. I had low expectations -- of course I had been to my local HD and no joy. I joked with my wife that McGuckin probably had a whole aisle of these things. Guess what -- they do! I once came up with the idea of buying my daughter a lava lamp while I was in the store, just for fun. I asked a green vest, again not expecting to hit paydirt, and she took me to a display with about twenty different models! Let's put it this way -- if McGuckin ain't got it, they don't make it.”

“Bravo and THANK YOU to our Boulder Home Depot for the wonderful "above and beyond" customer service we experienced late Friday afternoon. We found what we needed and when our item didn't fit in my little car, our awesome HD employee helped us tie it up on our roof. I know we have all sorts of AI, ChatGPT, Starlink, SpaceX etc. - but if we could just clone Mark the lumber supervisor, the world would be a better place!”

“They have what you need in the day of the job you are working on. pretty much all the time. Their pricing is competitive with Amazon. They can hotshot deliver items to you quickly as well, and for not too much money. The staff inside is hit or miss. Some are helpful, some are not. When I was doing purchasing for an HVAC and electrical subcontractor, occasionally when something was needed quickly and staff was not available, I would buy things from Home Depot and have them Hot shot delivered to the job site as it was quick and easy and cheap.

February 2026 update- this location has made huge strides in customer service. They go out of their way to say hello or to ask if they can help you. The employees are smiling. It's a very nice shopping experience. Well done.”
