Raj, the owner, is more than a shopkeeper; he’s a culinary guide, offering tips and recipes that turn your cooking into a gastronomic adventure. The shelves are lined with vibrant lentils, aromatic basmati rice, and an assortment of chutneys and pickles. “Just wanted to say that this Trader Joe’s is always really busy but the staff is wonderful and friendly. I especially want to say one of their associates Marquis goes above and beyond customer service. He helped us out yesterday when we were looking for a specific item and couldn’t find it. He triple checked everywhere in the store and we lost hope in getting this item. He tracked us down in the store and brought it to us. A lot of people in retail could learn from Marquis. Hopefully I spelled his name right.”

“Extremely convenient grocery store for north Boulder. It is a great place to pick up staples like milk and flour, and has saved me from a few baking emergencies. They have a nice grocery selection, but the last time I had to stop by for apples and lemons, all the available apples were significantly bruised and the lemons looked a little bit sad.*review edited for clarity*”

“This is my favorite place to get spices basmati rice and naan and absolutely fantastic selection of all The things anyone needs to cook Indian cuisine at home. Not to mention just all around a great place to get rice beans or spices at a much better price than bigger retail stores.”

“Sprouts is currently my favorite Boulder grocery store. They offer a wide selection of food. Somehow, they manage to have lower prices than Natural. Grocers, Lucky's and even Safeway for what I buy
These days Lucky's is more expensive but they have a better produce section than any of them. Sprouts is also good in hiring senior citizens and have the oldest employees of the four chains which I've mentioned.
I don't currently shop Whole Paycheck? so I can't include them in my comparison.”

“I used to shop at Pacific Ocean in Broomfield but since they were bought by Great Wall pricing seems to be more competitive at the Asian Market in Boulder for non-perishable items like spices, fermented products, and flavorings and it's much less of a drive. Good selection given the store is on the smaller size -- they've always had the products I was looking for. Fresh sesame balls at the checkout are good too.”

“I always get my avocados (and salsa things) here I have yet to get a bad avocado! Avocados are so tricky and some are just bad for no reason but not here. Magic.”

“Decided to eat a couple times here when work had me near by for a week. First day, tried the Pearl street. Didn’t really taste the mustard but there was a nice amount of turkey. Next day did breakfast with the Lo bagel. Really good size and taste. The next visit was the My Thai. A bit disappointed. Not much peanut sauce or flavor. Last visit was breakfast again with Lolita Burrita. Good flavor. Got with the chorizo. I liked that the burrito had toasted texture on the sides. All orders were done online. Easy to do and all were ready on time. A couple small tables outside if you need to eat there but there are other outdoor seating options in the surrounding area. The online doesn’t offer sides or drinks but it is inside a small neighborhood market so just get anything else you want while there. There are a couple parking spots next to the shop.”

“I shop here often. It’s a smaller store and definitely more self-service. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and the coffee machine is pretty legit - I like the Mexican roast.”

“This is a small Whole Foods. We were able to find everything we needed — hot coffee, fresh produce, ingredients for vegan lunches + dinner on the go, and more. JV was our cashier and he was super personable, helpful, and kind. Would honestly come back just to say hi again! These 3 sisters wish you and your triplet niblings the best!”

“Very well stocked gas station with clean bathroom. Perfect stop before you go on 70 West. The only downside is that all the lotto scratchers I've bought there have been losers.”

“Just wanted to give a shout out to Greg! I had placed an online pick up and the app was acting up to where I was unable to approve or decline replacements. After the order was completed, I reached out to the store and Greg helped me fix the issues I had. He was extremely kind in helping me get the order situated. I don’t know if he realizes how much his kindness made my day. Thank you Greg!”

“Normally fast-paced services, it depends on the time of day as they do close from 1-1:30pm daily. They are very helpful if you have other medical questions as well.”

“Very happy after I stopped in this KS today and discovered pre-packed salads on offer .. with no meat! Such a rare find at a supermarket. And for $6 at that. And with three different veggie options (Greek-ish, berries&nuts, and garden). Thanks for doing this!”

“Good prices & service but unfortunately you have to be vigilant about the sale prices ringing up at checkout... Also it does not appear that any effort is made to correct these issues when they occur, no doubt resulting in hundreds or thousands of people overpaying for goods.

Personally, I would like to see two products returned that were removed during the pandemic. #1 Cascadian Farm "ancient grains" cereal which was one of the healthiest cereals kept in stock for many years. Unlike many cereals that are made exclusively from corn weed or oats, the ancient grains cereal had around half a dozen different grains in it...& #2 the Kroger brand of "unsalted" saltines... Nobody wants to pay $5 for a box of unsalted plain crackers”

“This is my primary Safeway choice for a reason. No tomfoolery goes on in here. This is just a very well run establishment. The employees know their job and they execute it to perfection. I always like to buy cookie dough here. It's so good I don't even cook it. The employees never try to ask me how my day is, they are professionals. I love it so much”

“Great place. I always go there for my lunch breaks when I'm in the area. Good selection of quick lunch meals too when I don't have time to prepare one beforehand. Just unfortunate that you need to ask for a bathroom key in order to use it.”
