Lovely general store with great front and back porch seating, cold drinks, and delicious food. Add a beautiful drive up and down the mountain is icing on the cake.

Classic bicycle destination. Anyways a great stop because they have everything you could want. Delicious pizza, good pie, coffee and espresso, baked goods, kind staff! The new stage out back looks amazing! Get up there for live music on Fridays during the summer. There’s a bus from jungle in Boulder on Friday and Saturday summer nights! (Seats available on website)

Wonderful find after a day riding the Switzerland Trail. Perfect pizza made it all worthwhile. My son recommended we stop in before heading back. Timing could not have been better. The sky opened up and washed a little road dust off the motorcycles as we stepped inside. Our eyes adjusted to the dim light of the 150 year old general store and the well worn original wood floor. I was pulled toward the photo history of Gold Hill displayed on every available spot on the wood plank walls. The people of Gold Hill seem to be very proud of their tiny town; and for good reason. Places like this can easily become loved to death and fail to hold on to what made them special. Perhaps we got lucky because our visit was a weekday. I heard from my son the weekends are an experience in the extreme opposite. Glad I had this experience. By the way, the pizza was incredible after a hard day of riding. To top it off, we had to get The Cookie! A mind blowing chocolatey chocolate chip cookie! So bad but oh so good!

Excellent destination or stop on your front range adventure. Sure, Eldora and Ned are larger but this fun funky stop will be a hit. Enjoy great people, food and live music if your lucky.

I love these kinds of places. Sandwiches were great. The homemade cookie was the best ever. Denver potatoe chips also best ever. It is worth the effort to find.

I gave full stars for everything cause this place absolutely deserves it. Food was amazing, service was amazing, overall this place is great. Fun for adults and fun for families. Seating outside and inside make for great talks and adventures with kids. The drive is also fun and very scenic. Everyone was friendly.
