Genoa is the only pharmacy I use in Boulder. Finally, a pharmacy with compassion and care about their client's needs and health. They always go above and beyond to ensure you get your medicine. Thank you for all that you do!

I usually have my prescriptions sent to me in the mail, but this last time they never arrived. Genoa staff were so good in helping me get the medication refilled and handle the insurance report for the lost pills. I very much recommend them. They are great and I was able to pick up within an hour of reporting the situation. I have worked in a pharmacy as a tech and I have never experienced this level of professionalism and dedication before.

This pharmacy is great, probably the most efficient one I've ever used. They are very timely about filling prescriptions and the staff are always as accommodating as they can be and super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Have consistently had products under stocked and issues with them filling a prescription. Often times I use their portal to have a med filled, only to show up and for their system to say I have no refills but after doing some “digging” they found the correct order. Plus my pharmacist isn’t wearing shoes today, just grubby stained socks???

I used this pharmacy for 2 years when I first came to Boulder, then as I settled in, I changed to Safeway pharmacy. Big mistake! This pharmacy reminds me of the drugstore in the town where I grew up. Friendly helpful staff, that goes above and beyond. I'm a life long customer. LaVonne is a peach!

These guys are great. An experience a couple months ago during the pandemic, my meds were lost by the carrier (most likely stolen). Though no fault of Genoa, these guys were helpful in contacting the shipper, the Doctors office, and others because its a controlled substance. They were very apologetic, even though it wasn't their fault. I was kept updated and once reissued, my meds were sent overnight to me at no cost.I should have thanked them publicly sooner, but didn't occur to me until a I had to deal with Colorado DMV and a license that still hasn't shown up after 3 months. I was told that I had to order and pay for a new one. As the lady I spoke with at the DMV said "well it was sent out, no there is not a tracking number. So you'll have to pay for another one and continue to wait."If only Levi (sp?) and the rest of the staff there worked in government this country would probably be happier, healthier, and know what quality customer service is.

I've taken medication since childhood, and also moved multiple times to different areas of the country. I have frequented A LOT of different pharmacies over the years. I've even worked in one for a while as a tech. All that being said:
Genoa's pharmacy is my all time favorite out of the pharmacies I have frequented at some point. Every single person who helped me there has been friendly and respectful, including of a change of name and pronouns! On top of that they are a well oiled machine and have reduced the amount of work that previously had to come from my end just to keep on top of getting refills. They are great about taking care of more of that behind the scenes parts of communications between the pharmacy, my doctor and insurance, and other details, so I get a bare minimum of instances where I'm asked by the pharmacy to call the doctor myself or do something else myself in order to continue getting the medication fills I need. I am disabled, so that much burden lifted from my shoulders makes a big difference to me and improves my ability to cope in general.
The only issue I ran into there, was one medication I started after switching to Genoa, and the only issue was it was regularly out of stock. But I just asked them to increase the amount of that medication they regularly kept in stock, and problem was solved, never out of stock when I went to fill it again. ?
From what I can tell, as long as you are mindful, patient and communicative with them about realistic fill and pickup times and other details, you will have a good experience. As efficiently as they run, sometimes they are inundated by orders and fall behind, the same way any pharmacy can have happen. But it has also been my experience that even in this overworked state, they usually keep track of the individual fill orders that have people waiting in person to pick up, even when buried under tall stacks of others' rx order basket. have someone waiting to pick them up. I feel like they care.
I have no real complaints. I truly appreciate all that every Genoa pharmacy staff member I've spoken to has done to help me, and to make my life a little easier. The vibe behind the counter is always pleasant and friendly. Even brief curbside medication pick-ups there are more often a day-brighening factor for me than not. I just love this place and the people who run it, and hope it can remain my primary pharmacy for quite a long time. I swear I don't usually go on sounding like a living advertisement like this. I genuinely love and appreciate this pharmacy this much.
