Expired food, cans and frozen and the produce rotting. Selection was almost non existent and not worth the wait which was almost an hour. I was a minority in my own country. Felt like I was in a daycare with kids running amok. It is disturbing to see our tax dollars supporting illegal immigrants who r so ungrateful, they don’t even care to learn or speak the country’s language. This place is gross.

Typical Boulder hypocrites pretending to care about the community. In reality, they displaced an entire building of long term, low income residents, in the middle of winter, in a small mountain town where it’s virtually impossible to find affordable housing. Creating homeless people is their business model.

It does nothing t help to be suffering from 12 years of parental alienation to be told by your staff that “we only help Faaamilies, that’s why it is called EFFA”. I am a mother. Thank you!

This place is trash. They tell you they are going to help get you in a hotel and then help with a security deposit and 1st month's rent when you find a place. But they move you to a hotel outside your zone. Where then they won't help once you get accepted into an apartment. Then the county they put you in chases you around trying to take your kids because you won't tell them where you live, homeless or not, they have no legal right. Then they go to your work and get you fired from the only chance of stability that you had. Everything about EFAA is trash. They also work with traffickers to follow you around to try to kidnap your kids because they know your homeless. Beware of places like this. Bigger more sinister organizations control this place and places like this. Don't even associate your family with them.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about EFAA. I have had to reach out to them for some truly tragic unforeseen circumstances. I came from a very traumatic childhood and have no family support so when things have happened in my life, I've always had to "figure it out".When the pandemic hit, and I needed rental assistance for a couple months-they stepped in. When I had no insurance and needed to get glasses-they stepped in. When I just wasn't sure how I was going to get healthy food while I was in transition-they stepped in.Walter O'Toole & Beverly with the Food Bank & Cici in the social care program have been so kind, thoughtful, & patient with getting my needs met. For families, such as myself, they sometimes offer incredible whole food plant based items such as spring mixes, microgreens, soups & pudding. They always have milk alternatives and are really gracious. Walter has really been a great help to me with all my emails. We all stumble sometimes. Sometimes we can't help it, and sometimes we can. But you should not be ashamed to raise your hand and say, "Hey, I need a little help." That's why I'm writing this review to give EFAA & their workers the credit they deserve.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I want to point out that when you are homeless that means you do not have an address that means you don't have a city that you live in period not to mention the fact that the lady hung up on me even though she doesn't seem to understand the frustration of being a single parent who is also homeless. I am so glad that this company will not help you if you are homeless and struggling and really need emergency housing as soon as possible because even though you're homeless and don't have an address you have to have a Boulder address how much of a joke is that. The fact that I was hung up on in my time of need is absolutely unacceptable on a professional and shouldn't be tolerated.

I was given false hope. They completely lied to me. I called a few weeks ago to request help for myself and my four children under the ages of 5. I mentioned to them that I was homeless due to domestic violence. I was assured they could help me. But when the day came for my appointment they told me they could not help me. I waited with excitement for two weeks for my appointment to only be let down by a program that says they are here to help. They let myself and my children down completely. Some program.

Absolute garbage unless you live in Boulder they would happily let children freeze than help surrounding cities who dont have dozens of programs that only help the people of Boulder when this is all boulder county what a joke
