I came in here with my partner to try on ski boots and immediately the staff in there was rude. There were two gentleman standing behind the desk and one greeted us. We knew what we wanted to try on so we told them the options and size. After this they all three looked at each other, shook their head, than one walked back to grab boots. At first they told us they did not have anything in her size. As conversation went on about what our current issues are, what we are looking for, and mentioning us buying a boot today their attitude changed and ironically they had her size. The information they gave us was totally misleading and they turned us off from wanting to buy a boot here. We left there uncomfortable and unhappy. I will be taking my business else where, surely never back to a Christy sports.

So Listen.... In a world where a single day ski pass is now past $300 (Vail) its both refreshing and a wonderful surprise to find a ski shop that offers excellent value for money, superb service, friendly professional staff and excellent selection of technical kit- Christy Sports in Boulder hit all those targets and then some! I have had the pleasure of visiting ski shops in several countries and these guys were absolutely top class at every point of my experience: Ryon was super helpful and friendly with me trying to pick the correct skis for rental, and remembered me when I returned and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Greg was an absolute star! Even though I was renting, not buying skis, the man spent at least 45 minutes running me through the finer points for selecting the best skis and poles for my skill level, conditions and the way I enjoy skiing- He was hugely professional, recognised that I was not a beginner, but still gave me super insights that I can and will use in future. Bryce was fantastic with actually helping me select my rentals and was patient and very professional with bringing out several ski options for me to choose from based on the location I was skiing. He regulated the skis expertly and I appreciated his attention to detail with making the release tension slightly lower than what I normally run so that I would be sure that the ski would release easily in case of any emergencies- Tim made the return of the equipment seamless and easy, maximised the value of the rental (which was super appreciated!)and was friendly and helpful throughout... And then Meagan the Manager was superb- She obviously sets a wonderful example for the entire staff and was so friendly, funny, helpful and- like everyone else who worked there that I met- Extremely knowledgeable about the kit in the store and steered me into a really fantastic purchase of a new Cotopaxi midlayer at a really competitive price... They were all a delight to work with and if you have any ski needs in Boulder, just go to these guys on 30th street- Given that Its just the gold standard of ski sepection, price, staff and service- You May find equivalents, but I assure you that you will NOT find better! I had the most productive, informative, and efficient sales experience of my life at Christy this week. Eddie took care of me and spent nearly an hour helping to find the perfect boot that caters to the specific pains/discomfort I was experiencing in my previous pair. He was friendly and SO patient. I truly felt like he was working to fix my problems and I left with a grin plastered on my face. 12/10 experience I've never experienced anything like it. Eddie is in my hall of fame.

I'd like to start out by saying my buying experience from Christy Sports was absolutely amazing. Pen helped me find the boot/ski/binding package that really fit me- he knows what he is talking about!! However, I just picked my brand new skis up that were mounted by Christy and found some damage- post mount. While it isn't the largest flaw.. I didn't expect to bring home flawed skis when I bought them new. Definitely disappointed and would like a follow up.

We went in to Christy's to look at ski boots as a 1st time buyer we were unsure what was wanted or the best fit and planned to shop around to find the best situation for us. My boyfriend was getting fitted for ski boots and the guy helping him was helpful in the beginning. As young adults who can't walk in and drop a grand on new equipment, prices are taken into consideration. Since christmas is coming up my boyfriend reached out to him mom to see if she would help pay for the boots and that's when the guy helping came back up to us and asked if he decided yet although he was clearly on the phone. My boyfriend replied 'I'm talking to my mom about deals she might be able to get' which is reasonable since we came in to find out what boot fits nicely and shop around and determine next steps. The employee then angrily expressed that his actions were not okay and that we are wasting his time and he demanded my boyfriend to take off the boots. He took off the boots and the employee grabbed everything said "goodluck" and stormed off. We were going to buy those boots but he was inpatient and rude and did not allow the necessary time we needed. Instead we felt extremely embarrassed and awkward so we left. We then went to Epic because we clearly felt like we weren't welcomed at Christy's. It was the rudest interaction I've ever had with an employee anywhere. Throwing a tantrum and storming off after saying rude words is horrible customer service and unprofessional. There are no signs that say we have to buy what we try on, I feel so embarrassed I don't want to ever go back and see this employee again. I did not get his name but will always remember the hate displayed on his face. I'm very disappointed.

I've spent months trying to get an in-warranty replacement for a product I purchased through them. I'm required to go through the vendor, Christie Sports, and they keep leaving me hanging. They promise to follow up and get back and they don't. It's been months and many, many follow up calls. Still nothing. I'm consistently getting really, really bad customer service. It doesn't seem to matter who I talk to over there to get this done. Not sure what happened...I used to consistently get great service from this store. Will think twice about returning to them next time I need something

Jordan at the Boulder location is unbelievably knowledgeable. He is also extremely skilled when it comes to helping customers find the best gear for them. He definitely makes this store worth visiting for snowboarders!

ADDIE IS AN ANGEL! Experienced the most outstanding customer service by her at Powder Days sale. She made me feel so comfortable, was very thoughtful, and took all the time needed to answer my questions and find me the best ski boots. Will go back when she is on shift if I need any other gear. WOW —What outstanding Customer Service with Ms. Shannon! She is friendly, so knowledgable, and really knows her outdoor furniture ! I had one of the best ever retail experiences. The staff are clearly a team...each participated in my initial equipment rental and purchase of some basic mountain ski gear. Then days later I returned to buy boots and was expertly fitted by Jim ...who in the end recommended that I NOT buy the boots as they didn't fit just right. What a great gang ..keep up that spirit and customer focus!

We were given terrific service by Todd. However, my son's ski boots had a major issue on the second day skiing, and we were no longer in Boulder. We were able to be assisted in Steamboat at the Gondola by Jackson, who was an incredible help to get us back on the slopes, even after someone took our son's skiis while we got the boots adjusted. Talk about having a great day go south. Jackson definitely got our trip back on track!!!

Christy Sports is a trusted establishment with everything you need for skiing: from ski rentals to ski jackets/gloves etc. They also have a shop in Winter Park, in case something goes wrong in Boulder and you need something last minute before hitting the slopes. They are often very busy during the season, esp. during spring break, and the staff is usually friendly. I say usually because upon my ski return, one employee seemed very stressed and was unfriendly and quite rude to us... I was very surprised by his behavior, which was not at all in line with the other employees, nor the Boulder mentality. Hope he's not like that with everyone and perhaps just having a bad day. Would go back for rentals in the future. They were efficient and overall nice (apart from that one guy)

Pretty easy pickup experience, but when I got to the top of the mountain I learned my bindings were mis-adjusted and so I couldn't attach my boots to them.I had to get my buddy who works ski-patrol to fix them. Thankfully he was there, I'm pretty new at skiing and I wouldn't have even thought to check it, I would have just kept stomping on my ski's for the next 6 hours assuming I was doing something wrong.

Christy was my go to ski place; however, I tried to get my powder ski fixed as it the tip was becoming delaminated. They told me I needed a new ski tuned in combination my tip repair which in my mind was unnecessary. I was able to find another ski repair location for $100 less. No longer my go to ski place,
