Jay was working alone and was able to handle multiple upset clients with ease. He is the definition of talent, skills, understanding and customer service. Jay is outstanding. I can only hope his managers see his value as we did. He definitely needs a raise if he continues to work with that level of skill alone on Saturdays.

I have had a truck and car trailer booked for over a month and they call me tonight before I move tomorrow to tell me they dont have the trailer but i can still get the truck. lol. disgusting scam of a company

The price was too good to be true. And it was, they charged me an extra 100 dollars for literally no reason. Then I had to call their corporate line and waste my free time trying to figure out what the charge was about (spoiler alert nothing). If you are going to rent here, keep your receipts they will absolutely try to price gouge you. Only reason I'm giving this two stars not one is because after slogging through the corporate help line I was able to get refunded for the obviously bogus charges. If you're willing to put in the time to call the help line you might actually get a good deal.

Same thing happened to me that happened to Trie. Don't rent from these people. Guy tried to tell me i had a van reservation when i had a truck. This location is bad news.Update: after telling me in person that he would cancel the reservation he tried to charge my card $75 as a "no show". This place is a scam! Go elsewhere!

DANGEROUS! They rented me a car without checking any of the fluids. Later, I am driving 60mph and I go to use the window wipers and mud just smears everywhere. NO windshield wiper fluid to remove the mud. Almost crashed! Also it turns out they are not washing the cars, inside or outside. When asked about having a clean car at the approved rental time they said it was distribution's problem and not theirs. (To be transparent. after much negotiating, Asem gave me a discount on the rental.) RENT FROM THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

I reserved a Budget moving truck on Aug 9. On Sept. 20, I called to confirm and was told everything was fine. On Sept. 21, I received a cancellation email. Unacceptable. Go with UHaul instead, they're half the cost!

Honestly the other reviews really scared me during my move but the people who work here are AMAZINGLY helpful and kind. The truck drove very well for ~2000 miles. We had no issues and I will use this rental company again if I need to move soon.

I wish I could give zero stars. It's absolutely ridiculous to allow someone to reserve a van and send them a confirmation only to say you don't have anything available the day of. Terrible, horrible business practice. I reserved a cargo van to move, yet they say they only have passenger cars available. Any decent business would at least tell their customer if the specific vehicle they reserved was no longer available rather than making them wait 25 minutes for a representative at the counter to get around to helping them only to say they don't have what they promised.

Didn’t have the van I reserved a few days prior. However, was quick to resolve the issue and located a van within an hour and a half.

It’s not worth your time, it doesn’t matter if you have a reservation for a truck, they will tell you that you don’t and there’s nothing they can do for you. I’d trust a literal snake before I trust these people.

This was the worst experience ever…rude, no truck when I even called to confirm that it was there multiple times. This experience is the worst customer experience ever, in my entire life. Moves are stressful enough being treated poorly, not having truck when reserved, offering no help at all. Budget corporate should step in. Nico was the most unhelpful

worst experience ever!!! reserved my truck three months in advance the day of i call the office and they say they're not sure if they will have a truck available. customer service was completely unhelpful. spoke to louis who said to try one of their competitors?? insanity! but we did try a competitor, booked a truck with uhaul. will never use budget again, the employees could care less about your reservation. this company sucks don't waste tour time or money

Do NOT go to this Budget/Avis car rental location.!!! It was the worst experience. Office reeked or pot, the salesperson was completely unable to handle a computer glitch. The car I finally got( after waiting an hour with some other unhappy renters ) was not cleaned and also smelled terrible.

Hell no don't do business with Budget Truck Rental in Boulder, CO! We made a reservation for a 16" truck and car trailer. When we arrived we gave the Owner (and seemingly only employee) our name and reservation. He seemed surprised and said that he would check to see if he had a truck and trailer. What?! What good is a reservation then?! Turns out, no truck, no trailer, no idea if either will be available. We tried desperately to find another company but none had trucks. We spent two hours waiting while he tried to locate a truck. He finally found one and said it would be available the next day. Day 2: We went to pick up the truck but not the trailer because he hadn't found one yet (another issue I'll go into later). He told me to wait out front while he started it and pulled it around so we could do an inspection. I waited out front for about ten minutes. No show. I already knew it wasn't starting. Walked around the back and sure enough he was jump starting it (something I would have to do every time I started the truck for our cross-country trip). He said it was probably because the lights were left on. I thought at best it was a bad battery, at worst a bad alternator. Ended up starting. Check engine light on of course. He said to not worry about it. * in too deep now to back out and change plans*. Before I left he said he would work on locating a car trailer. I didn't have much faith. Day 3: Ended up locating a trailer at about noon (our timeline is beyond ruined at this point). Jump started the truck for the morning and picked up the trailer and sure enough it had a flat tire. Luckily a slow leak. I was able to maintain that and check it throughout the trip but certainly sketchy for a cross country trip. The trip: It was okay. I just couldn't shut off the engine without having to jump it to get it going again. Actually ended up breaking down in the Budget parking lot where I dropped it off. Such luck! I handed over the keys, briefed them on the status of the truck and left. Bottom line: I have never had a worse customer experience anywhere. I will never use this company again and I will warn others Hope this helps!
