I do not recommend this pharmacy for parents.First experience: Medication for an acute condition was incorrectly dispensed - insufficient amount received.Second experience: An employee declined to provide needed assistance for, or comment on, the Colorado Epipen price cap ($60) that was signed into law and became effective in January of 2024.Some pharmacies are not complying with this law, go somewhere that will be open with you.A different pharmacy in the area was happy to explain to me over the phone how the cap can and DOES work to save families extraordinary cost on life-saving medication. Epipens save lives.

My internist is there and she is amazing. That's the only reason I still put up with this mess of an organization. Someone wrote about the portal - it's true, it never works the way it should. Understaffed, as is every medical center. I see they're doing some remodeling as they should -- it's dingy and hasn't changed since the 80's. The worst thing: the billing situation. I have a mountain of medical debt, so I made a partial payment on a bill online last Tuesday. Friday, I get a call from the billing office -- a recording saying "Your account has now gone to collections and all future appointments at this facility have been cancelled." Nice.

I 've even using the BMC pharmacy for over 40 years now. And I have nothing but praise for Dave,Jenny, Nick and the rest of the crew there. They often go out of their way to make sure I 'm getting my prescriptions on time and don't have to do without. They also check and make sure I'm getting the best insurance coverage and price for what I, m taking. And do it all with a smile. You guys are the best!

Boulder Medical Center recently updated their patient portal. You'd think that is a good thing. Here's how it works: - When you get an email indicating you have new information, click on the link and get a "server not found" error. You get this msg when you've changed the db server site but never bothered to fix the location from your old links. - No way to get help except burden the practice you're seeing and get them to report the issue. You have to await a call back and that has no time frame for response. Try putting in a ticket system! - Why the lengthy repetitive data for every single update. Finding the actual msg is like a scavenger hunt or "Where's Waldo?" I love my docs but the patient-facing systems are amateurish configured. If these systems are so poorly managed, you cannot help but wonder about their security.

I feel good giving my pharmacy a 5 star rating. There is no comparison between the customer service I receive from the Boulder Medical Center pharmacy and the retail pharmacy that I no longer use. The staff make me feel comfortable and I don’t have to feel guilty for the medication’s my doctor prescribes me. Thank you for caring.

Went to Urgent Care at the BMC for what I believed was a Kidney Infection. They weren't even in my insurance network but I needed to be seen and handed them my credit card. A simple Urine analysis would have confirmed I had an infection, but instead I was turned away from getting the patient care that I needed, and was told to go the ER at Foothills. 5 hours and $5000 later, the ER told me I had an Acute Kidney Infection which required an Antibiotic. I will NEVER go back to the BMC to see ANY doctors there. Obviously even their Urgent Care department is incompetent to send away a patient who obviously needed care. Absolutely the WORST!

Scheduling is a nightmare. Impersonal and difficult to get help or information from customer service. I had been going here for years and have decided it would be easier to find a new practice than continue here

Visiting from out of town and I needed to have a prescription transferred and filled. They were SO HELPFUL and took care of everything in 15min, start to finish. They even walked out to where I was sitting in the waiting room a couple of times when they had to check info. If I lived anywhere near here, I'd make it my usual pharmacy.

My doctors are great but what is up with the patient portal??My security accout tells me they were hacked-and I get locked out of my records quite often-is there a problem? If I had a emergency nad I couldn't access my information-could an emergency room?? There is no one to call to fix your account!!!!and get you back into your health information.
