This dealership service center talks out of the side of their mouth. They will tell you one thing and then add charges to your service. Do not believe the charge they text you. It will be more and so overpriced. Tell all you know not to come to this dealership!!!

The service dept. claimed my wiper arm and splines were stripped & repair would cost $1,000.00. After a couple previous unrelated incidents, I was weary of their service department & rightfully so. Took my Palisade to another Hyundai dealership and all that was required was tightening of a nut (s). At the root of this problem is an engineering design flaw and a recall. I spent way too much time with Hyundai corporate & Foundation arguing my case. I ended up being slightly compensated by corporate for my time and 'pain', but you have to consider using another dealer.

When we visited the Hyundai dealership with the understanding that the car we were interested in came with a full warranty, we were assured by the sales representative that everything was in order. However, when we returned to finalize the purchase, we discovered that the car did not, in fact, have a full warranty as promised. Additionally, it came to light that the rear end of the vehicle had been replaced—information that had not been disclosed to us earlier. It became evident that the sales representative, who had known about these issues all along, had intentionally misled us. This lack of transparency and honesty significantly impacted our trust in the dealership and the overall purchasing experience.

We purchased an I5 in February. Having spent time at Toyota, Subaru, Kia, Acura, and Lexus on our new car journey at the time, the service at Foundation Hyundai was unique in that they provided a laid-back yet informative and helpful shopping experience. Our salesman, Tiernan, did an excellent job facilitating our purchase without adding any pressure. We felt (and still feel) that they sold us a great car at a fair price while making the negotiation and purchase process smooth and worry free. Tiernan is amazing and I’d highly recommend working with him. The finance staff were equally accommodating, transparent, and not at all pushy. Nothing but good things to say about our overall experience with Foundation Hyundai of Boulder to date!

This dealership is awesome. I just bought a brand new Tucson. I had a couple of technical issues that were in no fault of the dealership. I even reached out to the General Manager who promptly responded to me while on vacation. That says a lot about a company. It turned out to be a misunderstanding of vehicle features. Christina, the service manager, spent countless hours troubleshooting my concerns and verifying data with technical people. Chris in service went above and beyond by providing a loaner vehicle to ensure my life was not interrupted. These people are so kind and professional. I had limited time when doing all of the initial sales paperwork. Matthew, my salesman, made sure I got what I wanted without any pressure at all in a timely manner. Kiersten in sales was also very helpful to me throughout the whole process. These people are very customer service oriented. This place operates like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend this establishment for purchasing a new vehicle or servicing your existing Hyundai vehicle. You will not be disappointed! I hardly ever take the time to post a review about a company. However, the way I was treated here definitely warrants a review.

Said they wouldn’t cover a cracked taillight on both ends of a new ioniq. They didn’t look at it, but talked to them over the phone. Went to Longmont who were great, but they aren’t a certified repair center for these new cars?? They confirmed it looks like a defect and they were stress cracks.
Boulder basically said it wouldn’t be covered under a warranty, since we did not buy the car from them. They said go back to where you purchased the car, which was in Greeley. That’s over 40 miles away. I would not trust this dealership working on your vehicle.

Do not trust their service department. They quoted a friend over $1400 to change all 4 rotors and pads, and stated they all needed to be changed. I told her I would change them for her. Low and behold, all 4 rotors had ample thickness, were not warped, and the surfaces were in great condition. The front pads needed to be replaced, but the rears looked BRAND NEW (picture attached)! So much wear left on them, and they were not glazed over at all (no squealing or noise of any kind). They merely were trying to take advantage of someone for over $1k for work that didn't need to be done. Do not take your car to get serviced here.
Update: Called and talked to Dustin. While it doesn't fix the issues in the past, he seemed to sincerely care about the issue and take down information to help them improve in the future. I was impressed he did as such and am hopeful this leads to improvements going forward.

Has gone downhill since ownership changed. Prices have gone up for all services, worse communication and speed on work, they don't even call when it's done anymore it feels like
Update: My engine started having major issues on Febuary 9th. I had my car towed in on the 10th, asked about loaner cars, and how long it would take, and they said up to 1-2 months. It's approaching the end of the second month still no loaner, but they finally got the engine, so they are just gonna have my car wait another couple weeks before they touch it again. I'm so glad I have had to call them for any information on anything in this process. But seriously, it's the worst customer service I've received
Even more! I got a text today that my car was ready while at work, so when I got off, I tried calling the service department. I got ignored/they were busy for 15 minutes, so I called the parts department, and they brought over a note to call me back, I tried calling again just before the department closed and still no luck. So I called the sales team and found out that the service team has left and I can't pick up my car anymore today because no one can tell me the actual status to confirm I can pick it up and that I don't have payment to process. YAY!

I recently leased a brand new vehicle from Foundation Hyundai of Boulder and worked with Connor during this process. He was excellent to work with, answered all of my questions and made sure I got the best deal I could. Thank you!

Unfortunately, 0 stars is not an option.
It's hard for me to describe how terrible my experience with this dealership was. We chose to rent a car through them using the Evolve+ program that Hyundai promotes to test out using an Ioniq 5.
My wife showed up to pick up the car and there was complete confusion on their end. No one knew what she was talking about and they hastily gave her the keys without showing her the vehicle or educating her on it at all (the whole point of the program is to learn if an EV makes sense for your lifestyle).
Later we arrived home and found that they had signed off on the rental agreement for my wife - a rental agreement we had not seen. In addition, they signed off that the car was in "excellent condition" despite numerous nicks and even rock damage on the windshield.
Later, in some poor luck, we got a flat tire on the rental. I had to have the car towed to a closer Hyundai dealership (Schomp Hyundai - by the way, my experience with them was great - probably a much better option if you're in the market for a Hyundai). Schomp wasn't able to service the vehicle because of its association with the Evolve program and i was told to reach out to Foundation Hyundai.
This is where things went from bad to worse. It was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone despite calling both service and sales department. When I did get someone on the phone, I was told I'd have to speak with the GM Dustin. Eventually, I was able to get Dustin on the phone (after calling 10+ times and finally leaving a voicemail demanding a callback).
Dustin was rude and condescending to say the least. How someone that speaks to people the way he does works in a client facing role is truly shocking. He spoke over me, he insulted me, and was just generally nasty. To be honest, I lost my cool and that's inexcusable but so was his behavior.
I'm sure they'll reply to this with some justification about how i was in the wrong. I tried to work with them on the flat tire to see if there was a way this would be covered (they advertised maintenance was covered - it's for others to define if fixing a flat is "maintenance") especially against the backdrop of our pickup and our inability to actually sign off on the condition of the vehicle. Overall, we had a disagreement, it happens. The reason for my complaint is not that they wouldn't cover the tire - it's the extreme disrespect and hostility I was met with.
Bottom line: I can't imagine recommending completing any large financial transaction (like buying a car) with Foundation Hyundai. If they treated me this way during a "test run" for a Hyundai, I can only imagine the issues that would arise if it were based around a larger transaction. They lack competence but more importantly they just lack the ability to work with their clients in a respectful manner.

My experience at Foundation Hyundai of Boulder has thus far been very agreeable. My Sales Agent, Connor Kaethow was very attentive, professional, and listened to my concerns. Very pleased with Connor's Customer Service attention.

My visit to Hyundai of Boulder was beyond disappointing. I arrived with a trade-in that had recently been in an accident, expecting a lower offer but still interested in potentially purchasing an AWD vehicle for snowy conditions. However, after inspecting my vehicle and offering a mere 14K for an Elantra N 2022, the sales agent callously dismissed the idea of showing me any other cars, let alone the truck I was interested in. (I didn't want to put a name, but it happened 03/25/24) Despite my assurances of financial capability, he brazenly suggested I "pay cash," completely disregarding any other payment options. He didn't even bother to inquire about my credit or financial situation before making these assumptions. This experience was a stark reminder of the dealership's dismissiveness and offensive treatment toward customers they perceive as less likely to do business with them.

I bought my chevy spark here promised a LoJack but never put it in until a month later when I showed up and complained about it in front of customers then I brought it up to service just to replace the screw in the driver's side door at $199 plus tax they supposedly need to take apart the door which is false over paid computer techs I will not ever go there for any maintenance work if you can find a small garage that works on cars I would advise you to go there any foundation Hyundai or chevy is not worth it
