We were looking to have a custom dining table done, and after visiting multiple different custom furniture/woodworking businesses up and down the Front Range, we finally landed on BFA as our best fit - friendly and knowledgeable people, excellent craftsmanship, and responsibly sourced wood! We wanted a thick-slab live edge walnut dining table as a statement piece and the results have exceeded our expectations. We were so happy with our table that we also asked them to build a custom cabinet for us to store and display our vinyl record collection and vintage sound system. The result was something that completely changed and elevated the feeling of our living room. Could not be happier with our experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for custom woodworking projects!

We just had our new dining room table crafted by BFA delivered and it is a true piece of artistic craftsmanship. They were able to see exactly what was in my mind’s eye and here it is before me. This is the second piece of furniture they have made for us over the years and I can’t speak highly enough about their quality workmanship, ease to work with, and how much love they pour into each exquisitely crafted piece. Why buy a mass produced piece when, for the same cost and amount of time, you can have something unique, carefully created to your specifications, and locally made in Boulder? I discovered Boulder Furniture Arts while walking Pearl Street years ago.They built a beautiful cherry table and chairs for us and shipped it to Sedona. The table and service were terrific. I always remembered, so after moving to Fort Collins and acquiring my dream space, I decided to see if they were still around. Now, I have a home filled with well-made, one-of-a-kind, unique furniture. First, I designed my office and a table for the dining room. They helped me with the design, carefully asked important guiding questions, and built my furniture with heart. Next, we created unique bedroom furniture that shook hands with my dream. Many of the pieces were brought to my home by the people who made them. The Furniture Arts team delivered the furniture with care and love. The Team follows through with expertise and sincerity. I am so grateful for this experience and my special furniture.

We've worked with Hannah and team at BFA on several pieces over the years including a shaker cherry dining table + chairs, and more recently a custom cherry sideboard. They are wonderful people to work with, and their workmanship is outstanding. We take pride in the fact that this highest quality furniture is locally made and not mass produced. They are also here to take care of us if any maintenance or repairs (due to kid damage, etc) are needed. Great business!

We love our new table, chairs and bench. It is of the highest of quality and workmanship! The table is magnificent with an epoxy river down the middle! Everyone we worked with at Boulder Furniture Arts was professional and extremely accommodating. They are a class operation for sure!

Well, wow. Here's the skinny: this place is amazing. The talent, the customer care, the stuff. Our home now has four custom pieces we've had built from Boulder Furniture Arts. Each is different, each ideally suited for the spot: a set of bookshelves and an elm corner desk for my office, a table made of Walnut that maintains the pure character of the original wood in our living room, and a round standing table for a music and hangout room.We've gone back to BFA time and again because of the professionalism and artistic integrity. This is not some cut-and-paste joint, but an old-school word working arthouse run by people who give a damn.For all that, I found their prices competitive with the catalogue-and-mall shops, including the fancier ones. So, kind of a no brainer.

We were looking for a nice Mission-style dining room set. We had looked in a lot of stores throughout the western US, but hadn't found anything that really turned us on. We stopped in here on a trip through Boulder and were stunned by the beauty and quality. After spending some time talking with Lee and Hannah, we placed an order for a custom-built set that had all of our design ideas incorporated. We worked closely with them throughout the build process and when the set arrived at our home we were overjoyed. It could not be better. Every time I sit at the table I smile and say a word of thanks for all they did.If you are looking for wonderful furniture do not hesitate to stop by Boulder Furniture Arts!!!

Brian just dropped off our table and it looks absolutely amazing!! The finish is perfect and so soft to touch. It is just so beautiful and we are very pleased.
