It's pretty hard to dislike a Barnes & Noble. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the selections are always great.

The people who work at this BN are super friendly and always helpful. Other than that, it's a Barnes and Noble. It looks, sounds, and smells like all the other ones. ?

The remodel of Barnes and Noble that now includes more books is looking good. I bailed on this store as it moved away from having books. I still prefer shopping the more local options first, but when books are unavailable through the other stores, I go here.

I especially appreciate this store at the new year for its selection of planners, calendars, and journals, which also leads to looking at clever and pretty home office accessories, cards, and whatever gifty items might be nearby. There was a nice selection of Christmas/holiday decor remaining, but let it be known that aside from discounts on rolls of gift wrap, individual cards, and boxes of cards, they are the only retail store in the known universe to not put holiday merchandise on sale. Bah humbug, B & N. They are no obligation to do so, but it came across as rather petty and off-putting. Hence, the review.

Employees are very helpful! Sometimes it’s hard to find books and they don’t have many books that I’m looking for

Didn't have an online order when I went in for pickup. Couldn't even find the order using, name, phone number, or the order number provided in the email.

The place has become much better compared to my last visit. There is a wider selection of books, good coffe shop inside the store and place to sit, read and drink coffee. Like the place.

I came in today to look for one book by Angela Davis called “Freedom is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement” as well as another book called “Except Palestine: The Limits of Progressive Politics”. Unfortunately, they had neither in stock; however; they did have front and center Netanyahu’s biography, along with several books varying between educational to the glorification of Israel, for example - “The Genius of Israel” was displayed prominently as well. It also had marketing materials around it indicating it’s an “amazing read & amazing value”.Book stores are sacred (well, I guess not corporate ones but you get the gist) and are foundational to enabling people to educate themselves. At a time like this, I’m incredibly disappointed to see Barnes & Noble pushing a very clear narrative and one with bias.I’m hoping the popular books I was looking for are simply out of stock because they were just recently bought out - if that’s the case I will promptly edit this review. I sense that that is not actually the case though.I suggest Barnes & Noble take its role as a knowledge provider more seriously and ensure they provide readers the opportunity to educate themselves with a lens through all sides of a matter - not just one - and make sure they keep relevant books stocked in times that matter seemingly the most.Won’t be back. Over to Boulder bookstore I go!
