I've been working with Rachel for nearly 5 years, she is such a talented artist and amazing person. She's very respectful and so considerate with her clients. The environment curated at Shield Maiden Tattoo is friendly, welcoming, accepting, encouraging, supportive and all around wholesome. I highly recommend checking her out and the other amazing artists there. Shield Maiden is filled with talented artists, I highly recommend!
I'm looking forward to many more years of working with Rachel ☺️

This was the best tattoo experience I have had! I have been to at least 5 different shops with a variety of artists, and nothing compares! There is such a great energy as you walk in, beautiful plants, and beautiful people! Thank you Leslie for being so knowledgeable, accommodating, caring, and helpful. Not to mention the level of detail and stunning line work makes me want more tattoos! I absolutely love my tattoo and will definitely recommend shield maiden to anyone looking.

The vibes are immaculate here! I got my tattoo done by Leslie & they did an amazing job. Made the vision of what I wanted come together better than I expected. Everyone is friendly. I appreciate the teamwork between Leslie & another artist there to make sure my tattoo was positioned well. Well worth the hour drive for me. I'd book a flight if needed. I'll definitely be back ?

So so happy I found this magical place. Rachel the owner is an absolute angel - super quick to reply to my last minute request for an appointment, great artistic eye and direction (understood what I wanted), so kind and friendly. Overall amazing experience I'm just sad I didn't find them sooner!!! Definitely found my forever tattoo place

I got my very first tattoo today with Rachel who was so kind and professional and made me feel so comfortable. The studio is clean and comfortable and welcoming. I love my new tattoo and am definitely going back!!

These women have it dialed it. An inclusive eclectic aesthetic that is at once calm, uplifting and welcoming. I was pleased to connect with Leslie Podjun, a lovely human with ink skills that rock and deep intuition. The shop has beautiful sunlight, and all of the women there were engaged in their work, but warm and acknowledging. Go there; experience it for yourself.

Where do I even begin? This place has not only the sweetest, whimsical vibes but also houses some of the most talented and kind artists I've ever met. When you walk in you're greeted by friendly faces and feel like you're in a safe space.I was honored to have Leslie give me a beautiful design that I will love and cherish forever. They took their time with size, stencil and ensured that I loved what was happening at every step. I can't wait to stop in again for another one ? highly highly recommend!!!

I LOVE this shop!! I’ve had 3 tattoos here from Rachel and Natalia and they were fantastic! I have friends who have art from other artists here as well and had great experiences.Had my first tattoo here, the vibes are immaculate, it’s clean, and they are all so friendly. Rachel worked with me prior to my appointment to make some minor changes and made me feel like she really enjoyed designing my tattoo with me!Natalia really listened to me and was really patient with the design changes I wanted to make. She really went above and beyond to design a tattoo with me that I would love.Everyone in the shop is wonderful, and Natalia and Rachel are incredible!Already have another appointment here. If you’re considering any artists at this studio, 10/10 would recommend any day!

This is such a cute shop!! They have great vibes and atmosphere from the minute you walk in. Leslie tattooed me and they did an incredible job!! They did a killer tattoo that I will cherish for ever!! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this shop to others!

Over two weeks out from my tattoo from Shield Maiden, specifically from Rachel! Shop vibe is incredibly open, inclusive, and fun. I'm still amazed Rachel did this tattoo with such artistry in less than 80 minutes of needle to skin time. Loved my experience booking and getting prepped for the time. After care was clear and Rachel was good about answering my questions about things! I'll definitely be going back at some point!

This was my first tattoo and it was a wonderful experience. I shared some images for the design, which Natalia refined and improved upon. She is a graphic artist in addition to a tattoo artist. I love the way she did the shading in my tattoo!She was warm, kind, professional, and funny throughout the day (there were four of us all getting tattoos). She always took time to explain things, answer questions, etc. and made me feel super comfortable. If I decide to get a second tattoo, I'll be going back to Natalia at Shield Maiden.
