“My wife and I traveled to Black Hawk for a week's vacation in her new Kia Sorrento. Friday morning we went down to start packing the car and found we had picked up a nail in the left front tire, which had gone flat overnight. After a very nice lady loaned us her portable air compressor to pump the tire back up, I scrambled to find someone close to fix the flat. I called Gilpin Auto Works and had a very pleasant discussion with the man on the phone. We then drove the car to the shop 8.5 miles down the road. They patched the tire on the car in less than 20 minutes and used their impact driver to put the spare tire back where it belonged, which saved me having to do it manually. Gilpin Auto Works made the entire experience much less stressful and got us on our way back to Texas, which is where I'm writing this from now. Great job, and a very reasonable price.”

“I can’t say enough about Evan's Garage. I’ve been struggling with the tire pressure warning system on our 2010 Highlander for years. I’ve taken it to several places to fix it. No luck. Then I went to Evan’s. A mixture of testing equipment, old school troubleshooting, and careful attention to me relating the issue’s history did the trick. It was fixed completely while I waited, and at a very reasonable price.”

Instead of getting ripped off when something sounds wrong or like I am being taken advantage of. I tuck tail and head to Evergreen Automotive Repair for an honest take. “I tend to not leave reviews unless I am super impressed or super unimpressed. Well, here is my experience with A-OK. My Mazda Miata needed a rear differential. I took it to Macdonald Mazda in Golden. They gave me a quote of $4000 to replace the rear diff for LABOR ONLY. No quote on what the part would be. I got a second opinion from A-OK. I told him I would track down the part and then they said they would install it for $1200. Well, this sounded a lot better than the dealer. I ordered the part, it finally arrived and I took the car and the part to their shop. Two days later, they called to say it was ready. I went to pick it up and, no kidding, the final bill was $488.00. The car is back to awesome condition now. Honesty? Integrity? Quality Service? Satisfaction? Yep, they can all be found at A-OK!”

“Let’s get critical and rate this gas station in five categories and 1-5 for each category.Gas quality: the gas here is standard and they don’t do anything to mess with it which your car will thank. Diesel is also available. 5/5Pricing: Competitive. They offer rewards pricing here and I can compare them to Sinclair, Maverick, and so on. I didn’t see a way to save up to 20 cents off a gallon with store rewards like Kroger fuel points. 4/5Convenience: This gas station is unique in that it shares its store with a McDonald’s. So, it’s amazingly easy to get everything you need from fuel in your tank to fuel in your belly. They have automotive supplies and boost oxygen for altitude acclamation. 5/5Staff: Rating staff and individuals is difficult to do. The people here are real people with families. I appreciate all the effort they go threw to make sure their establishment is safe, clean, and efficient. They treat people with kindness and respect. If I could give 6/5 I would. For the sake of math 5/5.Accessibility: I think it’s important to be as inclusive as possible and so does this place. There is wheelchair accessible sidewalks, a fully functional accessible restroom, and the staff are always willing to help. The front door is a little broken but it’s not easy to maintain things like that with their flow. 4/523/25 points for a 92% rating. Each star is worth 25% This place ends with a near perfect 5 star rating.”
