Dr. Kuck, Lindsay and Mia at the front desk are all fantastic. My 3 year old lab, Shay, was seriously ill and dehydrated this weekend and the Willits team was able to see us almost immediately. They administered an IV with fluids and metronidazole and kept Shay for a couple hours on Saturday. When I picked her up she was noticeably better and has continued to improve. I can’t thank the Willits staff for their professional and compassionate care enough. ?

Willits Veterinary Hospital has always been a very personable experience with both my pets for many years. When I lost my dog I felt that they gave her the best care and listened to what we really want for the end of life. I can not thank Dr. Doug Bahr and the staff enough for their kindness and professional advise.

Willits VET has been by far, knowledgeable considerate consistent caring and affordable for our pup! The doctors and staff have been the best in the valley and wouldn’t/couldn’t bring our animals anywhere else!

WVH in Basalt has been great for me and my 9 month old Havanese, Piper. They responded quickly when he was attacked in the neck by another dog. They answer all my dumb questions about puppy care since I am 73 and never had a dog before. Piper was recently neutered and has recovered well with no complications as he had one testicle that had not dropped down. I can’t say enough about the ladies who answer the phone. They are so supportive and kind. Dr. Doug, our vet, is young, smart, caring, and knowledgeable about the emotional health of dogs. His vet techs are also super. Whenever I call to request Piper’s records, they are sent right away.
I feel very lucky to have this resource here in the Valley.

Overall, my experience at Willits Veterinary Hospital was nothing short of exceptional. From the welcoming atmosphere to the skilled and compassionate staff, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I always think the staff and vets at Willits Vet are very kind and professional. They are willing to spend the time with you going over your concerns, etc. With two dogs and esp one very elderly one, it means a lot to see that they truly care and are very knowledgeable.

I have been taking my pets to Willits Vet for 7 years. The staff and doctors at Willits vet are incredible. Kind, informed, ready to help or provide resources, intelligent, and flexible!
I haven’t always agreed with doctor recommendations but they have always been flexible, resourceful, and supportive!
Adie always LOVES going there!
Grateful to have them in our valley taking good care of our 4 legged best friends.

We had a great experience at Willits Veterinary Hospital after another vet clinic canceled us when we’d driven an hour to get there. The folks at Willits were kind and welcoming. Dr. John was knowledgeable and helpful about our cat’s condition.

Friendly, respectful, terrific care provided, my dog was always very nervous in veterinary offices, but the vets and techs at Willits always won him over. Wonderful people providing great care, highly recommended.
