I just moved here from Pa. Finally found a yoga studio that has classes just like home. Heat, flow, skilled teachers. I am grateful for this studio

I’d been living in the Vail Valley for two years and was doing an at home yoga practice when my boss encouraged me to go practice at Revolution. As cheesy as it sounds walking through the doors of this studio has completely shifted my life. I was so sure that I was going to move out of the valley by now and I swear what keeps here is the amount of community that surrounds me, many who I’ve met at this studio. Every time I show up to practice I leave with an immense amount of gratitude for Revolution. I don’t think I could thank the owners, yoga teachers, or community members enough for what they all have created and continue to create.

I’m new to Glenwood Springs. I found RPY by a Google search. The studio is clean, the classes are hot (that’s a good thing!), the instructors I’ve had (Brittany, Pammy & Holly) are super knowledgeable and have a cool vibe, very friendly, positive and encouraging. Great experience!

While all the teachers are professional, the classes feel formulaic. I have a 3mo pass and one teacher tried to charge me for signing up for a morning class (that I missed) and instead going to the noon. Maybe she gets employee of the month, but it felt insulting. I DO have an unlimited pass? I literally had to inform her, in front of students, that i would -not- accept an additional charge. If that's the "policy", i'd need to see it. Unlimited means unlimited. Way to have an unreasonable teacher blow the yoga buzz. I avoid her classes. WTheck? Other teachers seem nice but they sure come and go! Do they not pay teachers well? I often wonder. Trainees seem to pay a TON for a "training", then rarely teach and leave relatively soon, WHY? Also---- I guess they HAD been following a boring basic baptiste method, but now "opening up" to other styles? The few non-batiste teachers have seemed more experienced than the recent McYogis. Sorry, but teaching/knowing ONE formula is a -start- but we should pay less for teachers who only know one style w less than a yr teaching. Let that be a 1/2price class of sorts? Or a class we can bring a friend to for free. I brought my mom on mother's day and was charged full price plus a mat. Way to NOT help us members feel welcome, IJS. Personally hope they offer daily music heated vinyasa flow that more out of the box. Experienced teachers are both DJs with dance/yoga style that a more advanced student can appreciate. Doing/teaching the SAME type of movement isn't good for the body or brain- everyone advances, it's physiologically/psychologically beneficial. PLEASE let them use this space for more variety!

I bought a pass from the glenwood location for a valentines present, they now have closed and are wanting me to drive over an hour to the other studio. Unethical and dishonest business, they took money from people.

They do not honor contracts, sold passes at the failing business then told locals to make the hour drive to Avon to make up for it.

Cult like atmosphere, bullying, just like the book they follow journey into power!!! Why follow a yoga style when the leader dislikes women? Also be careful signing anything from them they do not honor contracts….

If you enjoy cults then this place is for you!!! They follow a style of yoga by Baron Baptiste just a quick Google search of his name shows all the issues with this man. They teach from his book like a preacher having a nice Sunday sermon. They bully and make you feel like you are the problem when they lack accountability and ethics. I paid for ytt for the Avon/glenwood studio when I asked for my money back I was denied and sent lawyer information due to the glenwood studio closing due to bankruptcy. No communication was provided by owners that they were closing, they made it seem like the hour plus drive to the other studio would make up for the sudden closure. In the contract it states that I can get a refund minus $500 they responded back with, that my money is with the glenwood studio even though the majority of the training was in Avon. Seems slightly shady to me. Be cautious.
