“OK, I generally read the reviews on TripAdvisor but not write one. Prior to my stay at The Charter, I had read a review that described the accommodations at The Charter is similar to a Motel 6. I almost had a heart attack and started looking for a different accomodation. Because of that review, I felt it was necessary to provide my perspective since we just spent the week staying at The Charter at Beaver Creek. Personally, I think it all depends on the unit you rent. Yes, it's a dated building (but somewhat of a nostalgic vibe). The particular unit that we rented was well-suited for 2 families with 3 and 1/2 bathrooms. The extra 1/2 bath was totally unexpected. And on The Charter website some units are completely renovated. I also like the fact that it has an actual wood-burning fireplace (most of the condos that we rent now are all gas). Now, it wasn't quite ski-in/ski-out b/c 1) the route to one chair lift didn't have enough snow and 2) the other route to the chair lift was blocked by the construction crew (the lobby & hallways are being renovated as I write this emai). Having said that The Village Connection (a free shuttle service) was very convient. We never waited more than 5 minutes and it dropped us off right near the base of the mountain.”

“Fantastic location and beautiful condominium. It was an amazing gas burning fireplace that we had on every night. Spacious kitchen. Comfortable beds. Overall great experience. The only negative was only having one indoor parking space.”

“Madeline is the best masseuse at the spa! I stayed at the Ritz for a fitness retreat and booked Madeline for three days in a row because she was so amazing. I've had chronic shoulder pain for years and have been to multiple physical therapists. I've been completely pain free for the two weeks since I've seen Madeline. She is one of those masseuses who knows exactly how to find every spot without you having to tell her. She is extremely charismatic so you'll love talking with her but she'll know exactly when to let you fully relax into the massage. I've never had such an amazing massage at a luxury spa, usually they aren't deep enough for me- but Madeline is the absolute best. The spa itself is also amazing. I highly recommend arriving an hour early so you can use the grotto to do the cold plunge, steam room, whirpool, and sauna circuit. It's printed on the wall of the grotto so you know exactly how many minutes to spend in each!”

“First of all, let me say that this is one of the most beautiful resorts I have been to in Colorado. I was very impressed at the gorgeous fireplace crystal chandelier upon entrance. Valet is free if you are going to dine there. If you are going to park for skiing. It is $500 per day. You should definitely know that before you go. They have several restaurants, a coffee shop, a members lodge, and an owners members lodge. The pool is fantastic, and the skin looks even better. The outdoor menus are a little limited. Also, while we were outside dining, we couldn't enjoy it because they were smoking meat. When I say smoking, I mean literally billowing into the courtyard. A lot of guests got up and left. It was very unpleasant. Also, the DJ was great but the music was so loud I felt like I was in a circus. Not what I would expect at the Ritz, to be honest. I would definitely go back, mainly because the location is one of the best in Colorado. The four stars is because of the smoke and limited menu options.”

“We had a great stay at the Sheraton, Avon. Customer service was truly remarkable. We upgraded rooms while skiing, and the staff moved everything for us while we were out on the mountain. We especially loved having a full kitchen, and beds were very comfortable.Covered parking and amazing rooftop spa as well! Would absolutely return. Thank you for a great time!”
