Solid shop. Elk migration had a few trails closed near Beaver Creek. HGC recommended another trail and shop outside of town for our needs. They are a good shop that cares about your experience no matter what you’re looking to do.

As an industry professional that travels around the country it can be surprisingly hard to find truly knowledgeable shops as I'm usually looking for somewhat obscure parts or information. Every time I've gone into the shop he's either had or immediately knew of exactly what I was looking for and had a wealth of knowledge on everything in the shop I had asked about. Very happy to have found a true professional so close to where I'm staying for the summer and would happily hand any one of my bikes to these guys any day!

The local spot was full of wonderful toys. I took a bike in to have a rear wheel trued. The service department was friendly & straight forward. After trueing the wheel as best they could, (a very old rim that had seen many miles,) they explained it was rideable but not 100%; they also recommended replacing the crank as it was quiet bent. They didn't hard sell me on a new bike or over charge for the work done. I was just traveling through when I needed the service but each time I'm riding in the area this shop will be my go to place to get bikes tuned, replacement parts, or a whole new whip. They have competitive prices, good inventory, & be sure to ask about rentals.

Was traveling to Avon and wanted to ride and was able to book everything online with ease. Rented a great gravel bike that was well maintained and was delivered for another fee to the hotel I was staying. They reached out beforehand to make sure the right clips were on the bike as well. Would recommend them to anyone traveling thru Avon. Plus the riding is nice!

I called around the valley for a di2 external charger and this was the only shop who had it in stock! We also were able to get the derailleur fixed immediately. Such great service and so friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

We’ve been using High Gear Cyclery since they’ve opened. This includes purchasing bikes from them, gear and service.Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, and they truly care about excellent customer service.

Best bike shop in the Vail Valley. Service is fast and friendly. The staff knows their stuff and will get you back on the road rolling smooth whether you pedal a well-worn 10speed or a high-end carbon enduro missile. Their product pricing is competitive and their service rates are more than fair.

I needed last minute work on my bike that would have caused me to miss out on a much-anticipated trip with friends. Paul fit me in last minute and did an incredible job on my bike. Plus the pricing was the best around. I couldn’t recommend this shop more

These guys were fantastic. I rented a bike for a day. They pointed me in the direction of some great trails both on the main mountain and across the highway. A lot of fun riding the different terrain all in the same area. Highly recommend stopping in! Great service a lot of good products as well.
