I was notified on August 22nd when I called in that I had a payment bounce for the annual fee for Vasa. I told them that this account was supposed to be cancelled by my husband the end of July when he visit in person. Since it wasn't, I still owed the $77. I told them I wanted to cancel and I was unemployed so they overdrew my account and I couldn't pay at that time. On August 30th, I talked to a paramount rep on the phone again and they said I need to pay the $70 AND $25 to to cancel my membership. They tried to take more money from me and I said I can't pay it yet. I received an email and paid all the verbally communicated fees TO CANCEL my account on September 9th. I get a call AGAIN after paying these fees and guess what?! It's still not cancelled anf they want more money. A new rep told me via text that I now have $49.99 due out of nowhere and I need to pay to cancel. I can't handle all the fees to cancel this gym membership when I'm not even in the same state anymore. I feel shaken down for money and this is criminal for them to shake me down for more since they can affect my credit if Idon't pay it. I can't make any more payments to them. I haven't used their service for a year and I need them to cancel my account yesterday!

If I could give zero stars I would. The gym floor might seem okay but if you walk into the bathrooms, showers, pool, sauna, & steam room your will throw up ?. It’s the dirtiest place I’ve ever been. And it’s been like this for YEARS. Literally every time I come the place is actually grosser. I’m guessing the equipment never gets cleaned except people wiping it down and we all know that doesn’t happen often. I will drive an extra 20 mins just to get to another location. It’s absolutely disgusting in here. Idk how it’s always so packed or how it gets any good reviews. They must not go into the back of the gym.

Would like to know what’s going on today with the club being closed. Showed up at 6:30 and it’s a ghost town with no signs on the door or anything. I’ve tried calling and it doesn’t go through. I tried calling “corporate” and got out in a call back list only to not get a call back. Tried calling a different location and they had no idea .An email or something would be nice to know when the gym I am paying for will reopen.

Gym great but on sat and Sunday it’s closes early no problem but stuff numbers kick people out of steam and sauna rooms 30 mins before closing. Most vasa’s don’t do that.

Update: Sept 2, 2024. Well, im still here, and the reason was the hot tub and the pool. Now I'm not sure about the pool anymore. The pool still has stuff in the bottom of it from months ago and stuff floating in it. It seems no one here really cares except to get people to sign up and get paid. The locker rooms are still the same, along with the bathroom area is disgustingwith people breaking things and the toiletsgot shot everywhere and no one really tries to clean it up at all, the ants haven't seen any lately but the showers still have hair all over and some kind of blood on the wall and floor still so I don't use the showers here, instead I shower before and after at home. I only go for the hot tub. Steam room, sauna, and massage chairs now since they got rid of the movie theater where you can watch a flick and workout.
I'm trying to give this place a chance, but it seems this company only cares about profit, not its members. They are a big disappointment. They don't really have anyone cleaning the place at all during business hours, and if they do, it's only doing trash. I wouldn't recommend this place at all except if you're looking to use what I wrote above. Also, it is weary that some of the members don't use swimming gear and the staff don't care when you complain. I've complained about people getting in with their underwear, gym shorts, and sweat pants. I'm still here but for how long probably not much longer. I'm definitely looking into other gyms as well.

I've been coming here for about 2 years & this gym has just gone downhill. Cinema cardio. They also have circuit training, a pool, fitness & dance classes. This place is packed normally but it will probably trickle down due to it having mold issues at the gym for over 2 months now and the employees with no response or concern really. They are literally building a whole nother room in the gym instead of taking care of it and I do not like businesses that put their own profit ahead of their clients health. Go elsewhere.

Probably just a dirty as Chuze. Flies in the showers. Atleast Chuze had hot water tho...Planet Fitness is my choice I guess was not expecting that lol

I used to love this gym but the past few weeks it has smelled so bad I literally feel nauseous. Smells like it’s rotting inside with mildew on top of that

It was okay. Machines are old. Some were sticky, which doesn’t feel good when trying to move a weight.

Great gym. I am just in town for a couple days. Needed to get to the gym. I appreciate Kat giving me a tour around. Definitely has a good amount of equipment. I definitely recommend this gym. Just found out yesterday Kaecy the caveman. Works for ya guys. Great dude. ?????. Thank you again :).

Alway busy overall it's a nice gym with modern equipments. Wish they would bring the 24 hr weekdays back.

I joined this gym because of the proximity and the pool, I have been swimming for many years and I think this gym is the one that keeps the pool dirtiest. The pool has needed attention for a couple of weeks now, the water is very dense, there is no visibility because the water is too cloudy and they don't pay attention to it. I have seen elderly people who come in just to rinse their shoes, people who come in without a hat and the necessary equipment to keep the pool clean for everyone. This morning when I went swimming, the pool water was too dirty and I couldn't complete my routine because my nose bled from the treatment they use to keep it clean, it smelled like fish tank water and the smell was too strong and so was the sensation. . This has never happened to me before and it bothers me because it is not a public service, we are paying for access and the conditions are not ideal.
The same with the jacuzzi, the dirty and cold water, the same with the women's showers. So I don't recommend this gym if your idea is to use the pool.

They are not helpful and I tried to get an insurance membership but they keep sayingy insurance is not verifiable in which it is so I'm going back to chuze

First time to VASA and my experience was fantastic. Enjoyed the facility and staff . Ask for Ricky he truly help with my experience giving advice my workout and health tips .
