I usually go to the Federal Vasa but I drive 25 min to try out the Aurora location. The tanning bed wasn't working and they hadn't sent any alert notifying members that the wifi was down and no amenities were available. The lady at the desk was racist and extremely rude to my friend. First bad review I'm ever leaving - horrible experience.

This gym has become disgusting since the manager Aaron has left. The bathrooms aren’t even close to be able to be used let alone walked in. Their is urine on the floors, the toilet are over flowing, the showers are broken more times than not… their is trash all over the gym, equipment stays broken… and on top all of that the staff is extremely rude. They don’t care about anything, even asking for help to change something on the membership profile gets a rude response that “I’m not doing that, u can do it yourself on the app”… that’s after waiting for 15 min because she was arguing with her boyfriend or someone in the hallway

I rarely go to this location, most of the time i drive an extra 15 min to a different one. It’s worth the drive. The staff is rude, the bathroom has pee all over. The gym itself is completely trashed with white wipes all over. Showers are always broken. Trash gym.

No hot water for a week plus, not enough cable machine equipment (ropes, bars, etc), MANY machines have broken or missing parts, clients are disgusting (bandaids by hot tub, toilet paper on floor of men’s room every single day, etc) and often rude, some staff seem nice but others can’t even bother to say hi/bye when you enter or leave, pool could be cleaner most days. Considering most are paying $10 a month and you still get a squat rack and bench you could be worse off but if you can deal without those two things Planet Fitness is far superior and less crowded.

This location just doesnt care about anything. Half the equipment is broken, or barely screwed together which is extremely dangerous. 4 times, including today, that whoever is supposed to open the place does not. It sucks waking up to get to the gym at 4am just to sit in the parking lot and end up leaving because no one showed up to open the place. Whoever runs this location doesn't care and just wants to bank your money. Don't waste your time here, go to the newer location on Smokey Hill.

It's a nice and clean gym but the hot tub doesn't work, lots of equipment hasn't worked for months, and there's no hot water in the showers. I think VASA needs to take care of this gym; instead, they are investing in opening new gyms.

Would give a 0 if I could. I had paused my account while I was moving and was confirmed that it was paused by the front desk. Fast forward a few months and I find it was not and they were charging me for the months. Talked to a rep and we came to a solution. Get an email today that that solution was not held up on VASA's end and they are charging again. It's unfortunate because I like the gym but I just feel scammed. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

No protection for the customer when trainers start to no call no show on their clients. All they care about is a signed contract then they can charge regardless of whether or not they are providing services listed in the contract. All they do is shrug their shoulders and say sorry.

I had mixed feelings coming back here. (I was a member when it first opened.) I wish I would have checked the recent reviews. Sadly, some things have not changed… there is still a lot of waiting around for some equipment and it gets super busy in the evenings, (but I expected that might be the case). Now, we can add hard to find dumbbells (10,15,20,25 lbs) most days, missing/inadequate attachments for cables, worn rubber grips, and broken equipment. In addition, my son reports the men’s locker room smells horrible. In the women’s locker room there were dirty lockers, hair/bandaids in the shower, and it’s freezing in there!In all honesty, if you can work out quick (at the right times) and skip the locker rooms, you might find the $10 membership ok. Definitely not worth any higher level. It’s been here a while now and with all the memberships they sell, you would think they could afford to fix things up a bit and keep the place cleaner.We’ll be cancelling our membership. I will update the review and let you know how that process goes. (I noticed there are many upset former members on here.) I may add a star or two if they keep their word and only charge $25 cancellation fee. At least we got to try it out for a month and see how it was.

I absolutely love this gym. I really struggled finding a place when I came home from a 9 month long military training spree a few years ago and the 24hr on Parker was closed. I hesitated to join VASA but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff here is incredible, it’s always clean. I absolutely love the Wednesday Evening Vinyasa Yoga class with Lydia and enjoy the Sunday morning one with Ashlee as well.The only downside is it is this location is almost ALWAYS packed and the stairclimbers have clearly taken a beating as a result. Not they gyms fault as it is clearly constant wear.

Vasa is cool. Spacious and plenty of equipment for the most part- depends on the time and day. I really just wanted to leave a review for Mr. Aaron. He's always treated me like I belong and a friend. He doesn't hesitate to help me anytime I need anything and his positive attitude is contagious. He's just awesome and needs to be shouted out for his amazing work ethic. Thanks so much for all your help and advice and guidance/support!! ??

I had a membership at this location for six months. I went in a handful of times and was never able to complete a workout because the place is TOO BUSY. Desk staff never seemed too particularly interested in answering my questions. This is a shame. This gym is very close to where I live. I'll never set foot in this place again.

I’ve been going to Vasa for years and compared to others in the area, this location is pathetic. It’s clearly not favored by the franchise as equipment is regularly broken or just straight up missing and not replaced, multiple machines are horribly rusted, and they neglected to turn fans on to adequately cool the building for the entirety of a very hot summer. It’s ridiculous that it costs just as much to visit this location as any of the others as the experience delivered is so wildly subpar. You’re better off driving to the Willow Creek location where the equipment, temperature, and overall condition is vastly superior
