It is the best place that you can get if you gana get issues.. The people of the leasing office is so lazy, they give you the apartment without being able to live ( we received us unit with issues in the bathroom, kitchen and other places) if you wanna request something service, they put your order like completed without comments and without go to repair it! We have a problem with cockroaches 2 weeks ago and they aren’t doing anything yet. It’s a really bad place. Please look others units!

My dog and we are enduring the cold in the room, they have not wanted to fix the heating in my room, they say that we are not a priority, what a bad service they provide here at preserve, they owe me a deposit more than two months ago, in the contract It says it should take two months maximum but I have been waiting for that deposit for more than two months. I don't know who else to turn to to help us solve these problems. The lady in the office gets angry every time I go and I don't understand why if I'm paying for the apartment it's not a free gift. Please I need help to fix the damage to my apartment, I am sick and I can't use the bathroom because it is clogged and the office says it is not an emergency, who can I talk to to help me fix that today 11 /29/2023. I need a solution because they respond to this comment but they do not provide a solution and the rent is being paid very punctually so that they do not help to solve it.

Coming in for a tour was very comfortable. Zurri brought a home feeling to the property during my tour. I loved the unit and the upgrades. She was welcomeing and I'm in love with the property. I'm looking forward to starting my new journey here with preserve at city center apartments ☺️

Wish I could share a photo trash is everywhere. Dumpsters are overflowing. We pay to grand a month, and they can't pay their trash. Bill, the rapid destruction of the property is sickening maintenance is a joke.

I have never left reviews before, but I feel this is needed due to seeing other reviews that are simply just not true. I’ve lived here for going on 3 years now. I’ve lived all over from Michigan to Florida to here and I have never once found a place that is more caring of their tenants. Everything is handled professionally and rarely ever have I had any issues maintenance wise. And If there ever is an issue, they arrive in a very timely matter. I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed with the management of an apartment complex but not only am I impressed I’m genuinely thankful for Alexa and the rest of the staff. Best part is, you’re right next to all the stores for shopping. I have a hard time staying put however I am happy to say this is one place I’ll be staying at for a while due to the people that work here and the comfortability of my apartment.

DO NOT do any type of business with this place. All the negative reviews are true. They actually scammed us. My husband and I applied for a unit at the beginning of August. We went in to tour a unit and they stated they didn’t have any available and that the unit we had applied to was not going to be available because they were in court with the tenants. We then chose a different unit and the guy (Bryan) we were talking to told us they needed a holding deposit which we gave $175.00. We asked first if we should wait till our application had been officially approved and he stated that it didn’t matter because the fee was refundable anyway. The next day August 3rd both my husband and I received an email saying we didn’t qualify, which we were confused about. So we called the office, no one answered until the 7th of Aug. A lady called us back and she was also confused why we didn’t get qualified so then we asked her how we could collect our holding fee. She stated that she was going to put in a request to corporate because they needed to send a check. And that they would call us once the check was in for us to pick it up. That was our last communication with them and we waited a whole month. We went in to the office after a month because nobody had called us. Then they proceeded to tell us that we did qualify for the apartment and that they couldn’t refund us for that reason. NOBODY ever called us or emailed us to let us know that we actually qualified so that we could make the decision to move in or not. They said that they had actually fired Bryan because he was telling people wrong information. Which that’s strange because not only one but two of their employees told us the same thing. The whole time they blamed it on their lack of communication and their lack of professionalism which that is none of our fault. At the end the girl told us that she was going to talk to her manager to SEE if she would approved the refund. Another two weeks and we still have not received a call back.We will be processing with court now because we have all the evidence that it was not our fault and we were never aware that we had qualified. As well as the conversation with the employees where they blamed it on their own employees and not us. It’s not much about the money but more about the principal and the fact that they think they can do this type of scam on anyone.

This complex is on an aggressive mission to enhance their online reputation, by soliciting “positive reviews”, in an attempt to mitigate the damage from negative media publicity and constantly spiraling ratings. (It used to be 3.2)! They keep doing the same things expecting different (i.e. positive) results. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. When SERIOUS problems arise, whether it involves a money dispute, policies, mail box & vehicle vandalism, valet trash, neighbor issues or maintenance requests etc. they fall short. These issues are not addressed with the same VIGOR and TENACITY as their rent demand pursuits. Preserve at city center is not problem-focused. Some of the aforementioned problems took MONTHS to address, if at all, despite multiple complaints from tenants, to no avail. They would put the issues on the back burner until it wears you down. You end up giving up entirely, or, moving out. Calls get sent to voice mails, and, they hide behind them. Emails are not acknowledged. Tenants deserve an all-around positive experience which is out of reach here.Regarding the model with the “separate kitchen”, FULL DISCLOSURE is needed. The unit comes with MORE minuses than pluses. The front door is lined up with the bedroom door. That means, you could be in harm’s way if there’s a shooting outside your front door, while you are asleep & defenseless. We do not like it. The vanity sink & cabinets are not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom. You will hear them being slammed 24/7. Water leaks can and do occur frequently. This is by no means a new community, as it comes with older plumbing systems and electrical wiring. The living room is located right outside the bedroom, and, you can hear the neighbor’s loud music or their action movies. There is no peace in your bedroom, and, it is the noisiest area of the unit. Oh, the “upgraded everything” is cheap peel-and-stick vinyl on the cabinets/countertops that peels off within months of occupancy. Hopefully, we have provided helpful information to a potential renter to help you decide whether Preserve is the right choice. In due course, the 5-star posters/Johnny-come-lately(s) will be downgrading their reviews, too, when the honeymoon is over.

My review is for the maintenance guy named Russ, he's been very helpful and seems to be the only person willing to help with broken stuff in my apartment. He goes out of his way to get the job done, and also very courteous and professional.

Maintenance hasn’t responded/tended to any of our work orders within 2 months of living here. The state of the apartment upon move in was horrendous and there’s a roach problem. Vehicle break ins on a weekly basis, for the amount you’ll be paying in rent here please don’t make the same mistake we did. Shop around for something better. Avoid this place like the plague.

Screwed are the poor in money. Here come the lords of the land. There is nothing about Preserve @ City Center that justifies the price tag. If you're looking for a place to get the mail, bathe & sleep, you'll fit right in. But, if you're looking to them to reimagine tenant happiness, you will not be a good fit. Units come with archaic appliances, including a furnace that was all the rage in the 80s. Not energy-efficient. The water heater is electric and small, & we often run out of hot water. Electric w/heaters are incredibly expensive to operate compared to gas. Xcel charges a service fee in the summer even though there is no need for heat. Might as well have a gas w/heater. The AC is located in a utility closet on the balcony, & occupies most of the storage space. A small bedroom closet is the only offering.Spectacular views involve looking into each other's apts. We're dealing with "sticker shock" due to excessive arbitrary fees. Expect to add somewhere north of $240 to your rent. On 90+ degree days, the AC struggles to cool our apt. Do the math. Skyrocketing rent prices + unreasonable, recurring junk charges + soaring Xcel bills due to archaic appliances. The drafty windows/doors will cause heat loss in the winter & increased cooling costs in the summer. Could only do small laundry loads & there's no f/softener dispenser. These issues will contribute to high energy bills. You will NOT be able to afford life here, & you'll be maximizing the owner's profits. No value for money in a high crime 'hood. The rental housing market is one of the most ruthless, corrupt industries that exist. You can find spacious, well-managed properties with better unit quality for LESS.

I love this property. They keep the grounds looking nice, the interior of the apartments is gorgeous (upgraded everything) and the staff is super helpful and friendly. My leasing agent is a doll, so eager to help me pick the right apartment. I see the same floor plans everywhere I go where the kitchen and living room are like one giant room. The floor plan that I rented has a totally separate kitchen and I love it. Not sure were some of these other reviews came from but my experience has been nothing but positive!

When you’ve lived at several properties, you have a benchmark for judging Preserve’s subpar performance. I take issue with the significant number of inspections. We had 3 so far, excluding the 2 city inspections. Their “inspections” involve taking pics of the apt interior. (Don’t leave those drawers laying around)! We place a high premium on privacy, and, this unwarranted privacy invasion is unreasonable. The small no-frills washer is causing pilling & creates a lot of suds. There are no onsite laundry facilities, so the only option is to use a laundromat despite paying wild w/d fees. Our apt, clothes and drapes smell of weed, even though it’s a lease violation. This complex reminds me of public housing, aka “the projects”, but with unaffordable rents. They do not run a tight ship here, so they get EVERYBODY, e.g. the locked-and-loaded troubled youth who shot at a cop, prompting a SWAT standoff. Loud & obnoxious neighbors including those who want the world to know they’re doing the nasty. Unsupervised, foul-mouthed kids, gang members, and, dog waste that ends up in the public waterways and sidewalks are concerning. The mom who is accused of child abuse resulting in death is disturbing. Per reports, maintenance saw the bedroom door secured with rope a few wks ago, but couldn’t be bothered to contact the police. They care nothing about YOU. How do you folks sleep at night, huh?!The property is poorly managed and management’s head is in the twilight zone. Work orders languish & sometimes never get resolved. They’re negligent with the grounds. Hallways are dirty. The leasing office area is clean to attract new business, tho. Some housecleaning is in order. The property is screaming for new ownership. Kick AMC to the curb, too! They were also recently accused of treating tenants poorly at the Cedar Run apts. On a scale of 1 of 10, the dial is set at MINUS 0. Go for it. Move in at your own risk and safety.
