I mean I can 5 stars to Rebecca . Thank you for being kind and attending. And for the nurses for taking my situation serious Instead of turning me away. For the last 6 hours I’ve been here. I’ve learned some coping skills. With the time I had to sit with myself I really got a slap of reality to see the brighter sides of things ??

First time coming and I was very impressed! It took awhile for what I need but I'm not complaining. The nurses and my Dr were very nice to me! I would recommend this hospitalTwo updates!First one was I gave birth to my son here! Everyone was nice and helpful to me and took good care of my son ❤️ 11/25/23Second one was I had surgery here yesterday 3/29/24 honestly I was scared the two nurses I met first were cracking jokes with me to help me calm down and the whole team that took care of me did such an amazing job! I wish I caught all there names to thank each one ❤️

UPDATE: we are now 8 months from when I was treated. We’ve provided THE SAME insurance THREE TIMES to the insurance staff and we just received a bill today for $27,000. It’s like they don’t listen to the insurance information we provide every 3 months or something. This was for an emergency! We have insurance for this purpose! But they’ve somehow forgotten c deleted or done something else because the bill we just received ( the third or fourth bill we’ve received after providing THE SAME insurance info) doesn’t have any insurance coverage that was billed. My cancer treatments I had last year were 100% easier than anything I’ve dealt with at this center. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.—The service from our doctor and staff was next level. The aftermath of paying our bills, has been absolutely terrible. They use a third party system (I believe) to collect insurance information while you're being treated in the ER. Because of a spotty internet connection, and talking to someone through a glitchy facetime (hello terrible experience while in the ER), they collected the wrong insurance information and we've now spent the last 6 months trying to get things straightened out. We've yet to receive a correct bill and it's been a very frustrating experience.I would confirm 5 times that they have your right insurance before leaving. They did us dirty and I have no idea when this is going to be resolved.

I had my daughter at this hospital on 2/14/24. We had seen doctor Lichfield across the street for our pregnancy. Long story short. I’m very happy with the staff at aurora medical center. I feel a knot in my throat speaking on how good my experience delivering my daughter at this hospital was. It’s a hospital that truly gives you options on how you want to deliver as long as it’s safe for baby and mom. All the nurses were so wonderful? they were so attentive to all my needs and my baby’s needs. The took so much care of my 5 year old as well something people just don’t have to do, but they did. The kitchen staff went above and beyond anytime I called for food. My delivery doctors were wonderful they monitored my baby so well. So so thankful, for they are key element to a safe delivery. I’m so thankful for all the staff working day and night to provide a good experience for families.

I want to comment on Victoria in the echo lab for her professionalism and kindness. She was very thorough but still personable and cheerful throughout the whole experience. We must have asked a million questions, but she NEVER made us feel we were bothering her. I was there for possible heart problems, but she let us joke with her to keep our spirits up. You may need to clone her ....Thank you Victoria, for helping us have a good time during a scary day.

Was supposed to have a bed ready for my 88 year old father when we arrived after a 3 hour ride and we have been sitting in the er now for hours. When asked if they had a time for when they would move him rudely was told some wait 25 hours idk. What a joke told me maybe after shift change they could do it. Still waiting.donteven have a pillow for him. When asked to come help him the answer is always it will be a few minutes. Doesn't happen. Would never recommend this place.

Went to the medical center of Aurora to get outpatient x-rays.. I had another appointment within the hour. Diane quickly registered me and Kachiri took my x rays quickly and efficiently. Kachiri also was able to do all of this while teaching a very nice student named Kajsa. Thanks

Got assaulted by a staff member while running away from them, and they on another occasion through me out the same day I slit my wrists. They will also not defend you if someone as a patient hits you. Edit; (Fast, reliable response time. Issue resolved) Full disclosure TMI or Asperger's diagnosis.

Went in last night to ER. I felt like I was dehydrated. Nausea, some vomiting, headache, even after drinking alot of water. Got there to the check-in, told the person at the desk, and I swear on all that is holy he almost rolled his eyes. Seemed super bothered. I get you deal with alot from alot of people . Believe me I get it. But I really and truly didn't feel good and he made me feel stupid for even coming in. So I left before being seen and went home and kept drinking water hoping it would help. Emergent care is hard but a little tiny bit of compassion goes a long way.

The Neuro Trauma unit had the worst patient care I have ever experienced! A 6 night admission after major brain surgery the patient care was amazing until the Neuro Trauma unit. Neglected, call bell response was horrible. Following the plan of care was non existent. Other than the tech, who came in to do vital sign checks, no one else bothered to come do status check or updates. It felt like it was an inconvenience to them. This hospital is an HCA facility. Also it’s a Magnet rated facility. None of what the organization claims and the rating claimed was present on this unit. Disgusting!

If I could give this hospital a zero stars I would. The nurses in the emergency room was coo the surgeon who drained my abscess was rude first off she didn't allow me to get numb enough before cutting and I felt everything. She was on her phone and smiling. There was nothing funny. Then on top of that left me in my own blood. Didn't clean me up. Got admitted to the hospital and had some rude nurses who didn't want to really help me. Went without pain meds for a while until I said something. Then because I spoke up about what I went through. The other nurses was being weird. Didn't help me when they discharged me. Had to call a friend to help me get dressed. Will never go back to this hospital ever again. The doctors and other people were nice. Had trouble with nurse Eno.
