I've been looking for a new mechanic ever since my old one changed management. They were able to fix a noise that my truck has had for almost a year now that no other shop was able to correctly diagnose. Great service and I definitely recommend them.

Awesome family run shop that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The staff has always treated my family with respect and listened to our concerns about our vehicles. We have never felt oversold or lied to which is a huge part of we won't go anywhere else for our vehicle repairs.

Wow what a treat! I can not say enough about the team at Smoky Hill Auto, from the front deck service writers to the techs in the back. I took my diesel truck in for an issue I felt like I had nailed down and after the inspection, it turned out to be something completely different. The cost difference from what I thought and what it really was going on was about $2500 difference. They could have replaced what I thought was the issue but they were honest about the true issue and it saved my $$$$. I will not go anywhere else! Thanks Smoky Hill Auto!!

I am really impressed with the new owners of Smokey Hill Auto. I was a customer of the old owner, Craig, and a little wary because I did not know them. Drop off and pick up have been made completely convenient with the envelopes and also with the lockboxes now to get your keys, I was able to convey all of my concerns on the envelope, I was able to get messages that I could return the calls, I was able to approve any and all work before it was done, and I was able to completely understand what my car needed. everything that they told me was in complete sink with my concerns. Justin spent quite a while on the phone explaining things as well as sending me pictures. They were correct when they gave me the information on how long it would take how much it would be and there was nothing hidden. This is a family company just like with Craig and they are trustworthy. Most importantly, I had had my car to three other shops about a tremble in the engine and had asked before to have my motor mounts checked. No other auto shop found the problem, but these guys did… broken motor mounts! Thank you guys for being so thorough and courteous, I will recommend you and I will be back if I have other service needs. I definitely rate you five star.

They diagnosed my car issue quickly and offered transparent pricing without any hidden fees. They give you confidence in the decision to invest your money into your car and give advice with options. This is my go to now and we all know how hard it is to find a honest shop anymore.

Smoky Hill Auto Service provided exceptional service to me in a big pinch. They were able to beat the prices of everyone I called and had my vehicle back up and running in less than 2 hours, late in the day on a Friday. This is my new mechanic of choice!

Want to give a shout out about how great this place is. Not only are the mechanics knowledgeable but they go above and beyond. I just needed an oil change and while it was up on the lift Michael noticed my tires needed rotated so as a courtesy and for safety he just rotated them for me.
As soon as you walk in the door you're presence is acknowledged and they're there to help you in any way. You can see the passion and determination of Kermit as he works to resolve your concerns and get you the best work and price(s).
I totally recommend Smokey Hill Auto as it is an honest and trustworthy place of business!

Smoky Hill Auto Service is the only place I'll take my vehicles. They are honest, reliable, understanding & care for all their customers! Being a woman it's hard finding a good trustworthy shop. They answer all my questions I have when it comes to anything pertaining to any of my vehicles. We live in castle rock and worth the commute to service our vehicles and wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I have taken my truck to 3 different places to get my Ram taken care of. Never fixed the issue. I finally took it to Kermit at Smoky Hill Auto Service and they fixed it in one day! I couldn’t be happier to not have that worry anymore.

I won't call them crooks, but would call them incompetent and willing to take your money...
I've been doing repairs on my truck. I've got new shocks struts control arms and a exhaust manifold. While installing these components my mechanic noticed knocking coming from my engine. He was immediately able to identify it as the infamous hemi tick. I was told I'll likely need new lifters at minimum probably a new camshaft. Unfortunately he doesn't do that work. I looked up Ram mechanics in my area and found Smoky Hill Auto, they advertised they are Dodge and Ram experts! I reach out let them know what's going on with my truck & the preemptive diagnosis I got from my mechanic. I was told they can diagnose the problem and fix it. Diagnosis was roughly 400 dollars.
I dropped of my truck the next morning. I expressed I work with my truck and was looking to get the work done ASAP. I was told it would be looked at 1st hr of the day. I went to work and when I had a moment I checked my phone to see I had missed calls from Smoky hill auto. I reached back out to them. Thinking I was going to get a diagnosis. NO they reached out to tell me my battery had died and they locked themselves out of the vehicle as I left just the keyfob not the door key
Its dumb but stuff happens, so I make the decision to have my key dropped off by an Uber delivery at about $25 dollars. They had the key 30mins later. I was told they would get moving on the truck and reach out soon. I did not receive a call by close of business.. In this process I was trying to be patient respectful and give the proper amount of time needed to get the job done right. So I reached out mid morning the next day, I was told they were test driving the vehicle currently and would reach out soon.
They reached back out to me over an hr later saying they haven't been able to work on the vehicle because the alarm was going off they couldn't figure out how to turn it off because they didn't have my viper alarm fob.my reaction was are you serious all you have to do is hit the unlock button on factory keyfob! You have it in your possession. No one thought of that apparently!
I'm told they're about to get'r done and have the diagnosis soon. Later in the day when we speak again. I'm told that they haven't been able to identify the problem. That they will have to dig deeper to identify it, and that will cost me more money I ask how much more I'm told $1000 dollars...
Why would I pay $1400 for a diagnosis? I'm told that that will apply towards repair once they identify the issue, But unfortunately there may be a little more labor to pay on top of the 1400 if I decided to move forward with diagnosis but decided not to get it repaired as they would have to put the motor back together... As I was already pretty sure I needed cam and lifters I just asked for them to quote that so I can see what they charge. I was quoted over $6000 dollars.
At this point I had quotes for $3950 in hand so I asked for them to prepare my truck so I could pick it up. I picked up my truck and complained about the lack of a diagnosis and the fact I was being charged basically for nothing. So they gave me a small discount. Unacceptable...
I took my truck to the place where I was quoted $3950 with OEM parts, AV AUTOMOTIVE on a Monday morning and my truck was repaired by Tuesday afternoon. Adding insult to injury I got a call early Monday morning once I dropped off the truck from Omar the shop owner at AV AUTOMOTIVE and was told that smoky hill auto cracked a fuel line while removing the valve covers and unfortunately I need to buy that part as well.
Thanks alot I should have been fully refunded, it's ridiculous a car shop doesn't know how to turn off a car alarm or to not lock themselves out of a vehice with a dead battery and that the only diagnosis that they were going
