I’ve been getting my sons formula shipped through them for the last 6 months. Every month it gets shipped later and later in the month and I get closer and closer to running out. This month they couldn’t even get it out before the month ended. If this wasn’t through insurance I would have switched months ago.
Edited to add that I just found out today that because they didn’t get it out before the end of the month I won’t be receiving a shipment for May at all and now I need to figure out how to get more formula. If I could give them 0 stars I would

Service with shield has dropped to an all time low. When I first started using them almost 6 years ago I was impressed with them. There were no problems. Now there is a problem with the time I can order for the month. Also I have to worry about where they will leave all of the supplies. The diapers Ive been getting lately are worse than tissue paper. Also now I am being told that my individual will not get enough formula for the month. All she gets is formula to sustain. I am at my wits end. Does anyone know of another company I can go through for her medical supplies?

Happy with company overall, they were not able to get one of the supplies that my new company had no issue getting me, other than that issue they have always shipped things in a timely fashion.

My family was in urgent need for medical supplies. I called Shield and they were able to immediately look up what we needed and we were able to pick up supplies within an hour of calling. So easy to work with and efficient. Thank you Shield!

Something has changed. When we were onboarded as new clients with Shield Health Care I was extremely impressed by the customer service we received (help with contacting doctor, collecting notices, and setting up systems with insurance providers). However, this month after completing our regular automatic re-order, everything went wrong. The order was put on hold with no advance notice. (This puts us in the position of running out of our necessary supplies.) I received a phone message that we would not be receiving out order when I thought our order would be arriving. Without timely notice, two pieces of documentation are required that will take multiple hours, plus days delay, to have completed in order for our order to resume. This is MOST UNEXPECTED and is creating unnecessary HARDSHIPS on our family. Even after speaking with a manager about the unfair, unexpected process, no change to help the situation was made.

After 8 months of ordering the same thing, they still "forget" a few items. Or don't even place my order at all. I run out of supplies every month because the delivery doesn't show or Shield forgot to order certain items. THE WORST!

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I have used shield since 2007 and I get everything I order with the exception of two or three times in 14 years. An order was lost once and they replaced it. As long as you are up on your doctor's prescriptions, everything is fine.

I have worked with this company for several years and they have repeatedly been inconsistent with getting my medical supplies shipped to me. They'll tell me that everything is set and when the ship date passes and nothing has shipped, then they will discover that I had to give my permission to have my health insurance charged, even though I had given prior approval for charge at least twice before the shipping date. Currently, during the COVID19 outbreak, they have been even worse. Last month my supplies were delayed for 10 days, even though I placed an order one month ahead of time, called one week prior to the shipment and again on the day of the shipment to confirm that nothing was going to hold the shipment up. I had to negotiate with a manager to change my ship date for the next month (this current month) back to the original ship date so that I am not a permanent 10 days behind on being able to get these supplies, upon which I depend. One week prior to ship date and twice upon the actual ship date I contacted the company to check, each time being reassured that everything was fine. Everything was not, in fact, fine, and my shipment wasn't sent. Since this was on a Friday, I had to wait until Monday to call for a followup since their offices are closed over the weekend. I could not get an absolute confirmation today either that my shipment would be sent. I was also told that there were no notes in the system about my two calls on Friday, and it was implied that maybe I wasn't telling the truth. I know that I will have to contact them again tomorrow to follow up on this again. Do NOT trust this company with your health. They are disorganized and make promises that they can't keep. I will be moving on to a different provider.
