RUDE! Don't waste your time here!!! Called for residential, front desk transferred call..phone was picked up and was immediately hung up on. Called back, transferred again, a voicemail prompted, left message. No return call........Waited 2 days. Called again. Repeat exactly what happened above. Hung up on again!!! Called back once more to talk to a manager, and the receptionist informed me they don't serve walk-in purchases anymore. Someone could have returned my call 2 days earlier to let me know this!Terrible business practices and they are very unprofessional.

I am not a customer nor do I live in Colorado yet this company still blows up my phone saying they got my information from Home Depot. I don't own a home. I don't have a garage. I have told the people who have called me that they have the wrong phone number but they still continue to call and harass me. I am not sure if they are a business that cold calls or a business that doesn't know what they are doing. But they should figure it out.I can't imagine how often they call you if you actually showed interest in doing business with them. For this reason, I suggest you find another business for your garage door needs.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I’ve had nothing but great experience with this company. I have 3 garages at my home and they repaired them at a reasonable price and were very professional. My garage doors are over 700 pounds each and this company had no issue working on them.

I ordered a door from them in Sept `22. They said 8 weeks to install. They finally partially and crookedly installed a broken-in-shipping door in March '23 (6 months later). It's now July '23 (10 months) and I still don't have a functioning opener, nor have they fixed the broken door or corrected the out of plumb install. I need at least 2 more doors to rebuild our (burned down in the marshall fire) home. Iook elsewhere..

Garbage "24/7" service - my garage door would not close and I called at 4:50 to get the "after hours call service" (when they actually close at 5, no idea why.) I called 2x, was told twice that a tech was texted, but the person answering the phones couldn't tell me what the next step was, nor did they have any update as to why I was never called. Its now the next day at 3 in the afternoon and I still haven't received a call. I gave up and called another overhead door location and not only got through to a live tech, but I got my service call scheduled for tonight! W the ratings as bad as they are for this location, I should have known better.

I'm just posting an email I sent to them in regards to my most recent experience with 2 of the employees over the phoneGood morningI am writing this just to clarify that what I am being told is correct.After calling the company multiple times being told I would get a call back from the local service rep to schedule an appointment which did not happen until the 3rd time I called in 3 weeks to be left a message saying we are too busy and are 4 weeks out so I the potential customer needs to pursue another company for the work. I was not offered any type of date even after the scheduled appointments so I then called the operator in aurora back and explained I waited 3 weeks to hear back from you to be told I can't be helped??And I then explained my company has very recently had annual contracts for normal pm checks on all 3 of our buildings with you and I would like to set that back up on a normal schedule and the operator directed me to Google other companies and go with them.This email is more for helping your company keep business and bring Light to what seemed to be very poor customer service and no effort to maintain or gain new businessI will be doing what your operator directed me to do and seek out another company to take on the contract and hopefully this gets looked into for future customers sake.

I would give a 0 if I could. DO NOT USE this company. I had new spring installed and it broke within 7 months. It happened on a Saturday. The website says available 24/7 which is not true, I called several times over the weekend and NO RESPONSE. My husband had to go to the airport but we couldn't get our cars out so we had to pay a $100 Uber charge. On top of it they want to charge a $50 service call. I told them I would deduct that from my Uber charge. I also told them about the FALSE ADVERTISING on their website about 24/7 and they need to change it. I was ignored.

I am only giving 1 star because BBB makes you pick one, otherwise this would be zero stars. Please be cautious if anyone tells you to work with Overhead Door Company in ******, **. We ordered garage doors in early July2021. They had worker issues after that in 2021 which I understand. They called us to scheduled an install in January for February. Got a call when they should have arrived in February telling us they didnt have all of the panels. They knew this when they set our schedule but never told us. Since then the sales person, *******, does no follow up and when we call him, he tells us he has no idea when the 2 panels will arrive and that we will see what the next truck brings. Ive made multiple calls to the owner, *******, and though Im told she will call me back, she has yet to call me back after 2 weeks. They tell us that they are just a reseller and cant do anything. This is such BS. Dont work with #overheaddoor. Horrible customer service. Im now headed to ******************** and the local news organizations.

They were supposed to show up to replace an opener between 11-1. I called them at 2pm to find out the previous job was taking longer than normal. Finally received a call at 3pm saying there was “still one more job before you”. Their website claims”24/7 service” but when I asked about them showing up later tonight they said they don’t do after hours service. Sounds like false advertising. If you want it done, find a different company.

Do not let this company in your home. It is a scam. The workman are apparently independent contractors. The company installed my garage door a few years ago (now I don’t know if it is the same company) so I had the phone number on the door. So when I caught the door by backing out before it was fully up and bumped it off the rails I called. They sent Randall Johnson to my house. After looking at the problem he told me it was a “crash door” fix and quoted me a price of something under $400 with a contract on his phone that was is such small print that it was illegible, then retreated to the garage for about an hour before coming and telling me that I needed a whole new garage door (it had minor cosmetic damage) including rails, motor springs and pulleys at a cost of about $2000! When I questioned him about each piece because it was clear that the only damage was the bent railing he told me he couldn’t just replace a part. Things went downhill from there as I showed him that parts are certainly available and questioned why a garage door company coming to repair a door would not have parts available. When I told him I was calling another company for a second opinion things got heated. He refused to leave my house without full payment. Refused to let me speak to a supervisor - finally telling me that he is an independent contractor and works for himself. I was alone in my house with this man who is telling me he knows his job because he has been doing it for 5 months after taking a 3 day training and that anyone I called would tell me the same thing. WELL THEY DID NOT. I finally paid him half his fee just to get him out of my house. Half an hour later Preferred Garage Doors showed up, identified the problem to be exactly what I thought, had the parts available on his truck and had the whole thing fixed in less than an hour. I called OGD to complain and was told someone would call me right back .. . Crickets! Stay away from these fraudsters.

This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. Our doors were ordered in June and a large deposit given. Doors finally arrived in November ( they were promised in August). Our salesperson was extremely non-communicative and I had to constantly try to chase him down for updates. You have ZERO ability to reach management at this company. No email listed and when you call the office, they will outright refuse to let you talk with anyone but your salesperson. Once our doors arrived, they were missing all of the hardware we ordered. That didn't stop the company from running the full balance remaining on our credit card without speaking to us. DO NOT use this company. If I could post zero stars, I would.
