Ms. Sharon is amazing! She is beyond helpful and caring. She was able to help me during my urgent needs for my contacts, and she went above & beyond! Very nice and welcoming team.

Dr Maybury is honest, helpful and full of useful information for my kid and I. All the staff we interacted with were kind and the wait was only 2 weeks which was faster than our previous optometrist. We'll continue using them.

After further review and multiple trips I would not recommend this outfit. Today I drove up based on an email stating your glasses are ready, glasses are not there and the staff informed me that their system has issues, no kidding. If they have known issues, why not notify the customer. Dr. Mark in the back is great, the rest of the operation not so much. Do your research before you spend your money here.

Great Friendly service. Both ladies at the front desk were super nice and helpful. I wasn't able to see the paperwork, so they filled out for me (without having issues).Doctor is easy going and friendly. Dr. was also thorough in his explanations.

Overall I've had a terrible experience with MyEyeDr and would not recommend this location at all.Let me begin by saying that the ladies that work at the front are very nice and appear to be accommodating and understanding. Dr. Mark Maybury however is another story.Prior to my appointment, I received several texts saying I missed my appointment, which hadn't happened yet. I had to call several times to verify my appointment date based on the texts, and was told they are having problems with their system. No big deal, but definitely irritating to take time (several times) out of my day to call.Let me also say that I have now gone to this location for my last two annual exams and had no problems whatsoever last year. Everything was smooth and I felt both respected and cared for at my last exam. That however all changed at my exam last month.I have a five month old child. I scheduled my eye exam online and called ahead of time to see if it was alright if I bring my child with me to my appointment. I was told via phone that it was no problem, and that it was 100% ok to bring my baby. The day of my appointment, I show up and am taken to my exam room on time. I was told that the doctor was running a bit behind, which I responded was fine. I understand we all run behind sometimes. However 'running behind' meant 45 minutes. I waited alone for 45 minutes in the treatment room before the doctor came in. No one checked on me during this time and no one updated me on my wait. My time was completely disrespected. After a 45 minute wait, my baby was crying and I was doing everything in my power to calm my child down while still waiting to be seen for my appointment. When the doctor finally did come to the room, he seemed immediately irritated that I had my baby with me. He made no apology for the excessive wait, did not ask the reason for my visit and seemed like he was in a rush. He made no effort to speak with me about my vision, converse with me, or treat me like a person. He simply treated me like another set of eyes that he needed to check before moving to the next set. I do understand we all get flustered with running behind however, his treatment of me was unwarranted. When he began making comments about my child, I decided I will never be coming back. The doctor made comments to me about "doing whatever I can to keep the baby quiet" and made other comments about how "eye appointments and babies don't mix". To top it off, Dr. Mark Maybury made comments about my age in regards to having my first child. He is not an OBGYN or any sort of women's health provider and does not have the credentials to be making such comments to women. I felt completely disrespected as a person, as a woman, and as a mother. After my visit, I needed to purchase my glasses, which I did because I did not have enough time before the new year to find a new provider with my insurance.I requested my records as I will not be returning for any future appointments. The woman at the front desk apologized when I explained why I would not be returning and stated "she understands that babies cry". Again, this review is not for the front desk as they do seem kind.I paid for my glasses and I was told they would be available the first week of January for pick up. The first week of January came and went, and I did not receive any notification. I had to call myself earlier this week and ask if my glasses were ready to which I was told that they were and that the office 'had notified me'. Let me be clear, they hadn't.I went to pick up my glasses and my prescription is wrong. Now they need to be remade. It has been almost a month and I still do not have my glasses. The lack of effective communication, lack of respect and lack of patient care all leave me to give this place a one start review.Needless to say, I have had an extremely poor experience with this location and would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

This was by far the worst experience with a medical professional I have had. Not only did he not wear his mask appropriately despite the signs on the door/windows stating that masks are required, but the arrogance that he entered the room with - not bothering to ask me what brought me in or taking the time to look at the notes his technician put into the system. He sat there telling me that he didn't have to exam my eyes to know what I needed. He made assumptions that I could see far "just fine" (I can't and this the reason for the exam) and that need be, he could prescribe a slight prescribe lens (I already have glasses). Disappointing since this place is close and you would think a provider would actually be curious about what brought their patient in.

I normally don't write reviews, but I love the staff here. They really do take care of you and are very kind. Moreover, Dr. Maybury is the absolute best optometrist I have ever had. I only regret that it took me this long to find him. If you schedule w him, it will be the most thorough eye exam you've ever had. It's clear that he understands optics/vision better than most ODs. I would recommend him to everyone!

Thrilled to be referred to Dr. Mark Mayburry and MyEyeDr. After years with another optometrist (who retired) closer to my old home I decided to find a new eye doctor close to my home in Aurora. It was easy to make an appointment and office manager Patty called the day before to get my vision insurance information. The office is still requiring masks and was clean and organized. Dr. Mayburry is friendly and answered all of my questions. He also went over the eye scans that were done (optional charge of $39 but so so much better than dilating eyes) and gave me an updated prescription.I like that the office offers Saturday appointments and the parking is easy in the Cornestar shops next to PokeCity. Two eyes open for Dr. Mayburry and MyEyeDr. Aurora Cornerstar!

Doctor Maybury is the best, He knows what he is doing. The one star is not for the Doctor but it's for the staff. We showed up for an eye exam me and my wife, after signing up the paperwork, she took us straight to get images of the eye, after that we saw Doc Maybury. After the visit she handed me the bill of $78. When I asked she said for the images. My insurance covered the visit but not the images. They work there and they know better but they took advantage of us. Not telling the customer what they expect to pay out of pocket is a RIP-OFF ladies and gentlemen!! Supposed to tell us '' would you like to take an eye image? It's gonna be extra charge of $39 each", but noooo, they took us straight there, like if it was included to guarantee the money. Worthless and disappointing behavior. Beware people, always ask if that's extra charge! I don't have $78 extra to spare during this pandemic, we struggle to even pay the rent.

My experience from the first phone call to my completed visit was amazing. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful! The doctor is thorough and informative. I didn’t feel rushed and he heard all of my concerns. The lens selection is great and Renee is amazing as well! Not to mention, the office is beautiful. Thanks guys for a great experience!
