Unacceptable Service and Gross Negligence – Avoid Lowe’s for Installation Services
If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother purchased a sliding glass door from Lowe’s, expecting professional installation and a product that functioned as promised. Instead, she has endured nothing but frustration, delays, and a complete lack of accountability from Lowe’s and its contracted installer, Premier.
The door was installed incorrectly, rendering it unusable. Despite multiple complaints and assurances from three different Lowe’s managers, the issue remains unresolved. Lowe’s has failed to meet its obligation under implied warranty laws that require products and services to be delivered in a functional and workmanlike manner. Their refusal to rectify the situation in a timely manner may also constitute breach of contract and deceptive trade practices under consumer protection laws.
At this point, my mother has formally requested a full refund, which is more than justified given the unacceptable level of service and the failure to provide the product as advertised. Yet, Lowe’s continues to drag its feet, showing a shocking disregard for basic consumer rights.
I strongly urge anyone considering a major purchase or installation from Lowe’s to think twice. Their reliance on third-party contractors does not absolve them of responsibility, yet they act as if it does. Their customer service is inept, their management is unresponsive, and their handling of this situation has been nothing short of disgraceful.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, take your business elsewhere.

The store was well stocked. Everything was easy to find. The employees in the paint section were extremely helpful. I was very pleased with my visit.

I love my Lowes store. (01 14 2024)
The Pro is particularly exceptional. Jen has been a tremendous help, always ready to assist, even helping me order blinds more than once. Tresa is always a pleasure and I've never seen her without a smile and that make me smile. And forget about Steven. He's always looking for some way to help. There's so many others too numerous to mention especially when it comes to help in plumbing. Thanks Lowes for have so many awesome employees!
Jake is cool, Anthony the plumbing guy, and Deneen.oh and don't forget Allison and Kim. I don't have do the Covid crawl just to get in either. Parts are getting a little sparse though.

Special order for a window. Never got the window (it was lost within the same location)but paid for it. Came back for a credit 2 months later (it takes 6-8wks for windowsto be ready). It took a minute because the manager couldn't find the location of the window. Than the refund was process but the account had been canceled so previous and new owner had to go to the bank than we verified it wasn't refunded. We are a small family business that ended up loosing the customer because we did not deliver the window in the time frame we gave them. At 1st I thought the acct holder had to be present so we couldn't go as often than after asking I found out he wasn't required to be there. It's been months, every time I went I was asked for name number. I told my story too many times, I gave my name and number NOBODY called. Than I send two emails to an assistant manager NEVER responded. An other assistant manager made a call when I was in the store it took almost 2 hrs and my issues was not resolved. A new assistant manager took over about 3 weeks ago and I been getting more updates but my issue has not been resolved. June 2023 paid $623 for a window that I never received, January 2025 I still don't know when I will be getting my money back. I have been to this location too many times and called corporate, seems like nobody cares.
Update. 1/8/25 I just called corporate for the 3rd timeafter seeing your response. Same answer, this is a store credit and corporate can't help. Stop waiting my time. Just give me my money back.

Everything is clean prices are not marked correctly or out of site. Employees always ignore the people that looks hispanic i dont see the reason they are buying like everyone else!!

Purchased a 52 inch craftsman toolbox on 12/5 for Xmas present when taken out of box top was dented and tweaked so it doesn’t open and close right. Took to store with receipt to do a straight across trade and they tried to charge $120 dollars more as sale was over and they now wanted full price. This was also within 30 days. Will not make anymore purchases from as we just wanted to exchange for an undamaged unit and they wouldn’t do it without upping the price. Totally unethical

I like this store location. I always find what I want or someone to assist me with finding it. My only feedback is that their prices are higher than their competitors.

Automated system transfered me 3 times because the automated system doesn't understand their product num. Nobody answered either time. So lowes lost a $2995 on a large freeze dryer
