Shantel is the worst thing to ever happen to this place. Don't enroll your kid unless you want to deal with truancy! The way they've treated my family is aweful

Do not take your kids here. There are better locations than this. We had a terrible experience here. The director and staff are unprofessional, inattentive, and rude. Most of the staff couldn’t properly clean a child during a diaper change, and anything negative that happened to your child is somehow another staff member’s fault besides whoever is with your child. The personal accountability at this location is seemingly nonexistent. My child chipped his tooth there, and they acted like there’s no possible way it could’ve happened there and I was out of line for even bringing it up. Staff turn over is incredibly frequent, so there is no consistency for the kids.La Petite as a whole isn’t bad. It’s just this particular location that I would steer clear of.

My experience with La Petite was very weird and concerning. Shantel who is the director is very unprofessional and non verbal and non communicative when it comes to speaking to a parent about their child. She couldn’t explain why she was sending a 2 year old home who has been in daycare since a baby. She claims he had behavioral problems that were never known until here.. parents have told her about the teachers aggressively handling children. I have withdrawn my child immediately and will not return

We were there from June 27 2023 to September 29 2023. Enrollment was a breeze & they were very efficient in getting my child in their daycare with short notice of time & availability. Prices are very good compared to others in the area. The inclusion of diapers and wipes in the pricing is appreciated. I don’t mind paying for more when it comes to my child’s care when it means improvement of care though. Enrollment being a breeze meant I was never informed about cut off time being 9AM, until the day we arrived after cut off time. We were brushed off when I mentioned it was never informed & No accountability was taken for lack of communication. Going forward when we were running late I started leaving notes through the app because the phone would never be answered. I take accountability for not making it on time for the times I didn’t but I do not appreciate the fact I was told my child won’t be fed after 9am till lunch I’m assuming??? Understanding I didn’t make cut off time and thankfully she ate before coming in. That left a thought in my head that my daughter won’t be fed till mid day?? It left me unsettled for my child to stay there. It could’ve been communicated differently. Also, My child went through a time where she was tense and uncomfortable during wiping. I asked twice if they were experiencing the same and was only told once they could try changing her in the moment to see if she does that same reaction. It was pick up time so I denied. Other than that I got no answer. The last day my child was enrolled I was expecting to still be able to check the camera to see how her last day was going, She got unenrolled before her last day even started. I appreciate the updated photos & responding to my notes with time allowing because I am extremely understanding that it is 7 kids to one instructor. Thankful for the care my child did receive at her time there. In the end, either they need an increase in staff, pay, communication development etc, but my daughter did not move from 3 days a week to full time at this location.

Great daycare. They provide meals, diapers and outside time. This is a nice place to leave your kiddo when you need some time to yourself or if you have to head into the office.

Yikes!!!!Opened the door to a smell that screams “were dirty here”. Floors obviously haven’t been swept or kept clean. Toys were very run down and old looking. Everything seemed really dirty. I had my son wash his hands ASAP when we left. Nobody was happy in this place. Staff was obviously disgruntled and inattentive to the children from what I could tell. During our tour I witness the kids being yelled at 4 different times. I decided within minutes my son would not attend.

This is our son's first month and he really likes this school. I love the fact that they offer meals, and that diapers and wipes are included. Cost is not higher than other schools and the teachers have been very friendly. Ms. Ashley has been great to work with. I really like the app they use. ** Update 02/2022 - After Ms. Ashley left we knew we needed to find another school. All the teachers that interacted with our son are great (Toddler 1, 2, EPS and Preschool) Naomi, Diane, Infinity, Ashley, Diego, and others that I may not remember right now. The new assistant, Mrs. Moneeba is great, but just needed a change. At some point the app stopped showing updates, our notice to inform them our son was no longer attending was almost ignored until the assistant director responded. There is a sign about no cell phones allowed in the building, but you can see the director using hers.

This place is a wonderful fit for our family after having a horrible experience at another daycare. Ms. Ashley and the staff are the nicest people. My son really enjoys going here and he's always happy at pick up. He's learned a lot during his time here and is finally potty trained!

My daughter has been with La Petite for a month. We heard about this place from our neighbors, who have their kids there, and are very happy about their experience, particularly in the past year. So I did a virtual tour with the manager Ashley. Through the conversation, I was impressed by the her honesty, transparency, attention to detail, quick follow-ups after the call. COVID has made us keep our daughter staying at home for the past year, I was concerned how she will adapt to the new environment. They arranged a discovery day first before her formal first day, let her spend an hour in the room while we were working on the paperwork in the office, which I think is helpful. Now she walks to the room by herself and no tears at drop-offs, thanks to Ms. Dianne and other teachers, they helped her to feel more and more comfortable day by day. I have to say the easy access security camera system in the room just put my mind at ease, as I can watch my kiddo whenever I feel like to. It blows away the worries and reassures me this is the right place for my kiddo to learn and play. I honestly think every daycare should add this feature. Plus, I can type messages and communicate with teachers directly in the room by using the app. I am so far very happy about the strong management led by Ashley, and very appreciate their flexibility and transparency. I just hope the kids get more outdoor time as the weather warms up in the Spring.

We were so nervous having our son start daycare, having been born at the beginning of the pandemic. Ashley and Matt not only answered every question to satisfaction during our virtual tour (during the busy holidays, no less!), they went above and beyond, answering our calls on behalf of another location. Even though they didn't have a spot open right that moment, they were well worth the wait- Ashley kept in constant contact until they did have a spot open, and got us right in!Our son took to his toddler classroom and his teachers, Ms Diane and Ms Erica, immediately. We had been worried about how he would do with other littles, having only been around close family adults for a full year. We've got to see (through the awesome livestream and the cute pictures they send through the app) how amazing the whole team has been at encouraging him to open up and begin to develop those friendships at his own unique pace.Now our son helps put on his own shoes and coat in the mornings because he's so excited to go to 'school' and see Ashley, Matt, Diane, Erica and all of the other staff members and kiddos! And when we pick him up at the end of the day he is always in such a wonderful mood all the way up to bedtime- letting us know that his day in their care has left him feeling safe, content and full of good energy from so much play, healthy rest and great meals.We've been impressed by the level of attention the whole team has been paying to health considerations and appreciate the lengths they are going to protect our littles and, by extension, our families & the families of staff. We love the La Petite at Richfield and highly recommend it!

My son goes here, and I am thrilled with the way he has been treated. Education is very important to us, and I like that they keep my son challenged and prepare him for Kindergarten. They are very transparent, and you have access to see your child on an app. They serve lunch and breakfast, which I appreciate. In addition, Ashley Whitaker is the director, and I appreciate her attention to detail, positive attitude, and optimism, especially through these trying times. I recommend this La Petite to whoever is looking for childcare nearby, you won't regret it.

Love this place!! I was so nervous taking my 18 month old to daycare for the first time because he is developmentally delayed, non-verbal and wasn't walking yet. The teachers are absolutley wonderful, loving people. Ms Diane, Ms Erica, Ms Cinnamon, director Ashley are all amazing!! My son runs in to greet them with hugs and is always so happy to be there in the morning. He has also made incredible strides in his overall development in the short time we've been enrolled. Thank you for taking such good care of my little guy!!

I am very happy that my baby will start at la petite on Monday! We were on the waiting list for a while and we couldn’t be happier that is finally happening!My older son attended here as well and he loved it! Ashley was super helpful to the process of waiting and kept us updated at all times. She is very professional and super sweet! I love how I can watch my baby’s classroom while he is there and also see pics and updates on the app. We love it here❤️

My daughter started this school in November 2018 and although there were some challenges with previous directors we are very happy here. The new directors Ashley and Megan are absolutely amazing! We had been at another La Petite in Greenwood Village and were hesitant to move her but it’s been a great experience overall.
