I would give Hertz a negative 5 stars if possible. Whatever you do DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PREPAY ONLINE. I have never experienced such bad customer experience. I booked a car online the for a quick trip I needed to go for work. We needed to be on the road by 8 to get there on time. It gave me an option for delivery that I checked. The next morning I called the store to see if they could either deliver it to me at work that day or by 8 in the morning. They told me they didn't offer that service. I then asked if I could pick up the car after work that day instead of 8am when they opened and they told me they couldn't change the reservation and I needed to call the 800 number. I did that. Waited on hold for over 10 minutes before I finally got to talk to a person. I told him my situation and that I needed the car either that evening or earlier than 8 the next morning or I would be late. I asked if he could move my reservation to the airport because they were open 24 hrs he told me he couldn't change my reservation because it was within 24 hours. When I told him it wouldn't work he gave no cares. So I said I needed to cancel. Well... I got charged full amount for the car and reaching out to their "customer care" center they pretty much said I didn't cancel and that I should just f#$ off. So even after explaining they did absolutely nothing for me. I have 7 trips scheduled for the next 4 months I was going to rent from them... too bad they don't care about their customers. All I can hope is that they don't get the chance to rip off others. Please do yourself a favor and rent from literally anyone else. This company sucks and does nothing to help.

I'm beyond satisfied!Young lady was helpful and made me feel like we knw each other with our talks lolRentals were clean and what I ask for both time while my suv was being fix.So you would see me next Thursday anymore! Thank you so much for all help!

I would give Hertz Corporate, and this store, negative 5 starts if that was an option.I had a reservation set up by insurance. I couldn’t use it until the car was due to go to the body shop. I got 2 phone calls a week from the store, and from corporate. I would call back, and YOU CAN ONLY TALK TO CORPORATE. There is no option on the phone tree to talk with the person at the store that called you. All the same, apparently they don’t talk to each other. I would talk to one, and the other would call me a few days later. I talked to someone again, and round about the same.I finally got it set up for them to pick me up at 9am today at the body shop. No one showed. I called and finally got to speak with someone at the Aurora store. I spoke with BRITTANY. She was rude as hell right out of the gate. She told me they don’t have my car, and they don’t have my reservation, and that they would never agree to pick someone up at specific time, and especially at the distance I was.I got transferred to the Englewood store. No one there would answer. I called again with no answer. I got on the phone with corporate, and spent another 30 minutes on hold, and got told that they do have my reservation, but they would have to escalate the issue and someone would call me.Ultimately, I was able to call my insurance company and they got me a reservation with Enterprise. Enterprise came and got me and took care of me before Hertz called me back. In order to make this right, they told me they would have the vehicle ready and I could come and pick it up. Like I would waste more time after they made me miss one appointment, and made me late to another.Hertz, you know who I am, and you know how to reach me. If you want me to remove these, reach out and make it right.

Everything went through my insurance far as payment, but one thing that stood out was not only did they pick me up so I could get a rental, their staff were professional and nice. Space was clean and the wait time was reasonable for the rental while they cleaned it for you to drive.

I was on the search for a decent priced rental car for a couple of days while my car was at the dealer and I found it with Hertz. The service was quick and great, the gentleman who helped us during pick up and drop off was friendly and helpful. The car, however, could used better maintanence. It looked as if the inside surface had been basically dusted but the nooks and crannies could use a good clean.To me, service is mainly what keeps customers coming back so it’s a plus for me. I’ll use Hertz for future rentals.

This location went above and beyond for my wife. I can honestly say this particular location was the best and easiest rental spot I have ever dealt with. All the employees are friendly, compassionate and really care about customer service.Britney assisted my wife and helped her through a list of issues. Amazing service, Amazing staff. Overall excellent customer experience.

My husband booked me a rental for a recent girls' road trip from here. They didn't have the mid-size SUV we requested because that rental was extended, so they offered me a full-size upgrade at no charge! It was amazing! The people working at this location ate hustling and got us in and oit as fast as they could! Would definitely rent from here again!

My dissatisfaction regarding the recent car rental experience with branch. I had my insurance made reservation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I encountered several issues that severely impacted my rental experience. Firstly, the car I had reserved was not available, and I was provided with a different model which I paid out pocket for difference, Moreover, I told the people that don’t give me a car with service due or engine light on. After driving the vehicle I received notification oil change due, and when I called to change this vehicle in different locations, I was told NO, because they need to rent to other people. And I shouldn’t be driving the car more than 500 miles because lights on. This situation caused great inconvenience, and it was disheartening to encounter such inconsistencies in service quality. Now, it does not surprise me why this branch has three star rating because they only care about renting cars not about customer experience.

Frank gave us awesome service. It was a very difficult day and they were short of cars. We came in with a problem and he creatively took care of it. Hertz company I would not rate highly. We could not get anyone on the phone after hours of trying- it just kept us in the automative system.
