It's your typical American strip mall clean, well maintained, they just repaved the parking lot got your gas station and a couple of fast food joints I think a restaurant or two like I said pretty typical American strip mall.

The security guards pulled up behind my car right after I got food from the McDonald's in the same shopping center parking lot. As I was eating my burger I noticed a security truck drive by my car and then proceeded to follow a man walking through the shopping center. Then the security car drove around my car three times before they pulled up behind my car and flashed their lights like they were the police. Before they got the car I showed them my hamburger hoping they'd go away. Instead, they decided that hamburger warranted a check. Three security guards surrounded my car and they were armed. My windows are not blacked out and I was watching my IPAD which you can see. The two men came to the drive side, my side and I'm a small girl BTW. They then harassed me and asked me why I was there. Now I'm upset because I clearly showed them my burger and they saw me because they passed my car 4 times that night once for the man and three times after that. This is harassment from security guards which is very unnecessary and unprofessional. Once they saw I was eating they should've left me alone and went on with their business. Or if they saw me get out of my car and approach the businesses they were trying to protect from the hamburger eater. Very upset with the way they carried themselves except for the the one person of color in their band of security guards. No one should have to be harassed when they're parked in a shopping center trying to eat from one of the places of business that is a part of the Eastbank shopping center.

I've been coming here for 20 years. The HOUSE margaritas are the best around. I love their crispy chili rellenos or their suiza enchiladas. They also have a yummy alcoholic shot called a "La Cucaracha" I believe it's sprite, tequila and kahlua and they pound it on the table like they're crushing a roach I guess and it fizzes slightly. They almost always bring you free sopapillas for dessert, but their churros are amazing. I just wish they would bring their family karaoke back. All the wait staff are very attentive, friendly and efficient.

The shopping center is pretty deserted with everyone moving out. I stopped at McDonald's there and was happy to see that Pet Palace is still there. Difficult to get into and out of the center, probably why it's getting sold.

I had a delicious bagels, lox, and cream cheese sandwich from Einstein's drive-thru. I sat in the big empty parking lot at the shopping center and really enjoyed my breakfast.
