Dr. Jackie has been my family doctor for over 20 years, she was the pediatrician for both of my children. I consider her part of my family! Her office staff is great, also!

Dr McCollum is fine, but the MA is so rude. Why bother even having one?I don't even like to call in with questions because of how she is over the phone.Waiting on the results for lab work is frustrating because it takes so long to review. I rely on medication, it would be nice to know which doseage I actually need to buy. Money is tight. I hate having to buy them and turn around a week later and buy another round because they finally get around to looking at results.

If I could give no stars I would! It has been three weeks since my exam and 2 weeks since she received my blood work and urine analysis. I also have paperwork that needs filled out and sent to plasma center before I can go back to donating. I have called 3 times and get nowhere! Just told to call back or I'll receive a call, which has never happened. Frustrating to say the least.

This is a painful review. My husband and I absolutely loved Dr McCollum. But due to her staff we left her practice. We were both treated so rudely by one of the female MA’s and also when we left messages for test results and were treated rudely for calling and then NEVER got them.Dr McCollum had my husband get a MSK Ultrasound and thankfully the ultrasound tech told my husband he would need to see an orthopedic surgeon. So when we never heard back 1 week later we scheduled our own surgeon visit after speaking to many friends for referrals. The surgeon gave him his test results, And Surgery was 1 week later. The Surgeon explained a tendon repair had to be done ASAP. And 2 months later … we never never heard from the office about the initial visit and ultrasound. Also, I got scolded by the same MA for calling the Dr on her emergency line. I had severe pain in my right ear, what does she constitute as an emergency? And she never called in a prescription. So disappointing, but we felt we had no choice but to leave.

Kind staff and a great doctor. She wasn’t judgmental of my lifestyle and choices but was clear with me about what I needed to change.

Made a new patient appointment 3 months ago for the soonest available appointment. Showed up 30 minutes early everything seemed great. Completed paperwork, was called back quickly, even talked to the nurse. Was asked to put on the gown and wait. After an hour in the gown waiting, I got dressed and left. I let the front desk know and she apologized. Apparently the flags were out of correct order. That's just too much waiting for me.

Several things happened for me to give this office a one-star review. After waiting 4 months to see Dr. McCollum, I had a list of items I wanted to discuss with her. Me and my list were rapidly brushed off as she did her usual run though. McCollum brought up her opinions on politics during my appointment, which made me incredibly uncomfortable. The one item on my list that I did get to discuss, the prescription was never sent through to my pharmacy. When I called the office to inquire, I was once again brushed off. I very politely asked where I could file a complaint, because I was incredibly upset at this point. The attendant was rude and said “we’ll let her know”, and then hung up. I doubt I will ever see my prescription honestly, and I will never return to this office again.

It’s taken me a few years to review because I wasn’t sure if I should or not. I don’t really like writing bad reviews… I had a very bad experience here. I came with my 3 (at the time) year old to establish a primary care physician. I was brought back and the first thing when she walked in the room, she looked at me and said “martinez?! You need an English last name like Peters or Johnson” (I married into a Hispanic family). Then she mentioned she is also an OBGYN if I need her to do an exam and I let her know I already have one that I like. I had my daughter on my lap and she was looking at the lamp in the room and Dr. McCollum said “You know how much it costs to fix those if they break? $200. Ask me how I know… because I broke it” then she said she had to do a breast exam and instead of my daughter sitting on the couch that is in the room, she told my daughter she had to sit in the corner on the floor next to the couch and to not look at me and “be brave for mommy” and she told her if she was brave for me she could get a ring pop. She had me change into a gown from the waist up and when she came back, she had me fully exposed while doing the exam. Then she had me sit up to talk about paperwork and didn’t give me a chance to cover up so she was talking to me while my breasts were fully exposed which was very uncomfortable. Then she mentioned an elderly lady who was in the hallway who fell and hurt her wrist, which I don’t think based on HIPAA laws I should have been told. Then when we left, my daughter was sad she didn’t get a ring pop, so we came back and did get one from the front desk. I have not returned here and will not return.

Pitiful display of incompetence and unprofessionalism. Doc forgot to send my X-ray documents to the xray provider, leaving me in debilitating pain for two weeks. Neglected to send documents after second request as well.Arrvied over one hour late to appointment (was playing with her grandchildren in the lobby), tried to send me out without my needed health orders, and her daughter mistakenly handed me someone elses health records. When I called to ask (a second time) why my documents had not been sent to the provider, the office told me "if everyone did their job, then the world would be a better place". I'm not kidding, that's Dr. McCollums answer for her flagrant incompetence. Do yourself a favor and use any other available health resource instead of this practice

I was awaiting test results for a hereditary disease. I get a call from the medical assistant telling me that I need to see a geneticist and that labcorp won’t run my test likely due to insurance. I spend hours calling labcorp and my insurance doing a whole run around, after having a panic attack (and my chorea at this time is getting really bad from stress). Nobody knows why labcorp “denied” it.So I call the medical assistant back asking her what exactly the message from labcorp said. She then said that I need to come sign a release form for genetic testing. This girl is the rudest med assistant I have ever spoken to. I told her I would gladly come down to sign it, and she said to wait and she’ll call me back. I get a call 3 hours later, when I’m unavailable, to come down and sign. I asked for a simple apology for the mix up, and I was told “I’m not apologizing for anything I just told you what the doctor said”. No respect, no empathy or sympathy of any kind.If you can’t even have a little respect for your patients, then how can you give proper care?Jackie is an incredible doctor, but her medical assistant has no business in this profession.

I am the Daughter of a patient, she is the worst Dr ever don't care about patients health unless you are one of her favorites and want to just talk about other things then your health. My mom was missed diagnosed when her illness could have been detected with a simple colonoscopy which according to another medical professional is suppose to be done after the age of 60 well my mom is 62. My mom kept going to her telling her something else was wrong either then a urinary tract infection which is all ahe kept telling her and all she did was prescribed more antibiotics without doing an exam. Instead she wanted to talk about the family when most of the family is dead nothing really to talk about there. I AM WARNING OTHERS DO NOT GO TO HER WHEN SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG SHE WON'T CATCH IT AND MAY POSSIBLY SHORTEN YOUR LIFE. Yes my moms diagnosis is life treating by the time it was detected by another medical professional she was told she only has 6 months to a year left before she would be dead. Plus her office smells like mold not sanity at all.

She is a rock star. Compare to the King of rock and roll (Elvis), King of pop (Michael) or the Queen of soul (Aretha). Dr. McCollum is the Queen of Family Medicine. I always feel am treated like family and not just a patient. She is extremely smart and very knowledgeable. Her diagnosis is always spot on. Always up to speed on current medical information and treatments. Will always be my physician as long as she is in practice. My husband and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!!!!!!Would be nice if all physicians were more like her.?????????
