We were made very uncomfortable by the way the manager treated a young woman who was picking up furniture. She wasn’t tall enough to reach the tie-ins and the manager refused to let the guys trying to help her load the boxes, and instead made everyone sit there for over 20 mins and watch while she struggled with the straps. He mocked and demeaned her a couple of times in front of a group of people while she was in the loading dock trying to get her stuff loaded over her head. She was perfectly nice and professional, but he refused to let anyone help her, claiming it was policy, even though we’d all just watched these men load up multiple other vehicles. We stopped to help her get everything set up right so she could at least drive home, after we both left the dock. We felt gross by association and sickened watching the whole thing. It was almost certainly because she had a medical disability. The poor judgment displayed in hiring and keeping that guy on, assures that we’ll never do business with Crate and Barrel again. Most disturbing thing I’ve seen in a long time, and I still feel awful about it.

Came here for a 0900 appointment pick up. Arrived at 0800; and got in a door right away. Took them more than 3+ hours to load me up… wow lol

Don’t bother buying from them, if you want to pick it up. It’s at their request on when to show up at their warehouse way out east (past the airport) and if you miss your window, the guy is rude and dismissive and won’t walk a few feet to give it to you. Instead, he will give you attitude and walk in to try to reschedule the pickup. As if I’m gonna drive back to pick up some cushions or have them delivered for $$$. Plenty of other vendors to buy furniture from.

Juan and Rose are awesome for pick up. Juan went above and beyond to help me get all my items in the car. I wish I would have been able to give him cash to say thank you!! Her took the time to make sure I could get everything in my car. Amazing!The 3 star rating is because of the lack of organization and crazy customers who think they are more important than everyone else. Was in the middle of loading my car in a tight loading lane and this woman and her husband nearly barreled through my car door to cut someone else in line who was waiting patiently. The amount of privilege she exhibited was disgusting. Folks, please be patient and realize you are not the only one who is using this service.Crate and Barrel: if you could implement a more organized way to process order pick ups, I think that would help curb the negative behaviors of your more privileged customers.

Pickup was easy and efficient. My wife and I picked up a leather chair. During the pandemic we had furniture delivered multiple times that was damaged (not from Crate and Barrel) so we wanted to first inspect the chair. Mike unwrapped it for us, let us inspect it, and then helped load it into our truck. He was pleasant and professional, something that is lacking at many facilities these days. We will not hesitate to purchase furniture through Crate and Barrel in the future.
