The people here are so kind and are genuinely cool. My kids love getting Pokémon cards from this place because the people here are always so nice to them.The only downside is that this place specializes in older comics and new releases are few, but we come here and buy older stuff all the time because their stock is always rotating ?

Don't expect a fair value. I came in to sell/trade some MTG decks that were sealed (in mint condition). I'm new to the game (which I disclosed to the owner) and from my experience with other players, it is an ethical and supportive community. Not here. I was given a trade value of roughly 25% - 30% at best. Especially, given the fact that 2/3 of it was a box of set boosters. Which was effectively sold to me at retail.It took me a couple of months to actually get around to doing the math. But it sucks that he would knowingly give such a terrible deal to a disabled veteran, who is new to the industry. Don't get me wrong, the owner was extremely friendly, as was everyone in the store. However, that does not justify the unethical gouging.I am basing my values on what other stores that I called told me they use as a baseline (TCG Player). So, I am not pulling numbers out of thin air.Bottom line: If you're looking for a friendly chat, this place is great. If you're looking to sell or trade, there are plenty of places that would be happy to give you double the value (50 - 60%).

Got 2 books for my collection, thanks to Brandon digging through boxes while Micheal and I talked about great comic book artists & movies. The best 2 hours of my vacation. This store is what comic books stores are supposed to be.

changing up this review a bit due to a response from the owner. Temporarily bumping up the rating as it seems the business is having some difficulties that appear to be no fault of their own. If the business can't figure out how to solve these issues though I may reduce my rating back down. I posted my review a bit prematurely as I have not visited the location yet, though their available hours of operation will make it difficult. I am going to also attempt to visit the location in person to give a better review later on.

Just found Cobalt Comics today by chance and is hands down one of the chillest stores to buy collectibles. Chatted and shopped with the store owner who was super helpful and kind. They gave great recommendations and the prices are as fair as can be. Definitely check them out if you want something a lot more relaxed than a LGS.

First off, Google says this place is open at 10 yet the physical sign says 12 so the first 2 hours of my errands had to be shifted, then I come back and notice the little sign saying they won’t be back until “hopefully 1”. This is an absolute joke and I won’t even think about coming back here because of how unprofessional of a first example I am given into what it is like to shop at this store. The lack of professionalism or care for the guest experience is shockingly sad.What a pathetic excuse for a business
